Are you for real? There was never a question about "acceptance" EVER between them. Firstly, Sasuke was never looking for Naruto's acceptance at all. Secondly, Naruto was himself on a personal mission to rescue Sasuke, do you think there exists a question of acceptance after that?

OT: Basically, Naruto's unconditional brotherly love and concern for Sasuke was what made his cry... that he could go all this extent just to protect Sasuke from falling into darkness, even lose an arm solely for his sake. There was nothing in it for Naruto if Sasuke walked the dark path and harmed himself, yet Naruto such a long time with extreme determination to save Sasuke, all for the selfless purpose of saving him.
