The term reborn is implying death so yea, bijuus can die if their host die. Remember when the Raikage said he would kill Naruto and Bee to prevent Madara from getting the 8 and 9 tails? The beast will die too but only temporarily. It'll be reborn somewhere else to keep balance

Thanks for finding the page, boopsie ;)

The body of a shinobi contain secrets, could be they wanted to insure no one could find out the weaknesses of their sealing tech.
Imma just assume it has something to do with the sealing tech. It's the only explanation I can think of other than....Senju DNA lol

sit on my effin face :ls: please :flowers

I also think the plan was also get the sharingan maybe not though;

could have some involvement from Danzo though.

They said they were so close to getting *it*

it was either the Sharingan or the Village becoming a victim from the tailed beast awakening.

common sense..

Rin was a spy for the mist village all along. If her body was recovered by konoha then some of there secerts could have been revealed.

This is probably how obito was able to penatrate the mist village and control yagura the 4 tails perfect jin

If she was a spy then why would she ask Kakashi to kill her?

Oh yea, I forgot to ask about that. The whole "it" situation. There was probably a specific reason they wanted the bijuu in Konoha? As a distraction while they look for something? We'll probably never know U_U

well even from this, i thought the Raikage just meant he'd kill them and hide their bodies rather than let them go straight into Madara's hands.. and all he said is "it'd be some time before the Beasts were revived", that doesn't imply to me that the beasts would die, just that they'd eventually find other jinchuuriki and "revive" the beasts into those hosts. that just seems much simpler to me, but i could be totally wrong. thanks for the thoughts you two and yes, FLL thanks for finding that page

Well, if Rin was a spy and Obito had something to do with her... i don't think he'd be mad at Kakashi for what happened.. plus we saw that Obito had never left Madara's little cave until that day, right?

are you suggesting that Obito got the info about the mist from Rin's corpse?

if so then that makes sense. I thought about Lol

The beasts will naturally revive, and not in a jinchuriki. Spiritually they won't actually be dead I guess, but their spirits would leave the dead host. But revive means come back from the dead. So technically, killing the host will kill the beast albeit temporarily.

well "revive" doesn't necessarily have to mean back from the dead, it can be used other ways. like with orochimaru's "resurrection" though he wasn't actually dead, he could have also said that sasuke "revived" him.. i don't know though, i'm just not convinced they'd be "dead".. if they left the hosts, that's one thing, but i don't know about them dying. But you could be right, i'm just saying what makes sense to me.

Rin's body probably still contained the secrets of the technique used to seal the tailed beast.
that could be true. although the leaf have had jinchuriki of the nine tails all along. So they already know how to seal the tailed beasts. However it might be different for each jinchuriki.. Gaara's was quite different to Naruto's I guess.
Very similar though.

some don't believe the bijuu have spirits since they are somewhat just chakra. However chakra can be diminished and used up so I wonder if there is some what a curse to the tailed beasts.. the Juubi is like nature or something so that could be the reason. im not sure about all this though

The dying thing is debatable but we know they'll leave the host cuz they'll be reborn without one. That's something Minato directly said. I guess the terms are technical

It's possible to believed they could still revive her and continue with their original plan.

Or they thought even if the host is dead the Bijuu could be extracted.

Yea...the ignorance of the shinobi is always a factor

what confuses me is what the hell they expected the 3 tails to do to konoha at that time. naruto alone was able to knock it out and and the chuunin rank konoha 10 were able to seal it. we are talking about konoha at its best. minato.jaraiya.hiruzen.tsunade.quite possibly orochimaru and kabuto.kabutos mom.danzo although he wouldnt have done anything.and a group of next generation ninjas that were likely just as good as konoha 10 or better. the three tails wouldnt have lasted a second, he wouldve started charging a bijuu bomb and be crushed in the middle of forming it like kuramavsnaruto. oh ya they had kushina too. the entire uchiha clan.

There's a chance that they wanted to take ahold of evidence that may have incriminated them for what they were planning to do

You're wrong about one thing.
When a Jinchuriki dies, the Bijuu does not dies. Instead after some time, they are released from the sealed body into the living world. That is what they meant to be revived again.
When Rin died, Sanbi was still sealed inside her. The mist wanted to take away the Sanbi from her because she turned useless. Before the Sanbi gets released from the seal they must retrieve her body and extract it out from her.
Remember when Sasuke encountered Kyuubi inside Naruto?

Kyuubi warned Sasuke not to kill Naruto. This means that if Naruto dies at that moment by Sasuke's hand, he will be released and will kill Sasuke. Its not because Sasuke freed him from Naruto but instead Kyuubi will kill any Uchiha who are standing in front of him.
