Why did Madara only give 1 Rinnegan eye to Nagato and not both?

Umm Nagato had both eyes.. Madara took a spare eye not eyes

Why did Madara only give 1 Rinnegan eye to Nagato and not both? I mean, Zetsu could've just taken a set of spare eyes and implant them into Madara. When Nagato's parents died, did his Senju/Uzumaki blood mix with that eye to form the other Rinnegan eye?

This point is 1 reason why I think that Nagato was born (more so, supernaturally) and activated his Rinnegan prior to Madara activating his own (the main other point is that he was a child of prophecy like Naruto).

Um madara gave nagato both eyes, the one eye he had when he met Obito was a spare, he even says it himself.

To be technical, Madara's original eyes would be his 1-tomoe Sharingan.

Also, while I do accept that is possible he gave Nagato the Rinnegan, why it is so hard for some NB users to accept the fact that Nagato may have unlocked Rinnegan without any aid from Madara and before Madara unlocked his own?

OP is just trolling now. The eyes he's referring to in the last image he posted is not even a panel of Nagato, its his father in a feat of rage.

On the 0.1% chance this is not a troll, Madara gave both Rinnegan to Nagato. Nagato did not unlock the Rinnegan himself. He could not revert it to any form of Sharingan as he wasn't the original wielder.
