Why did Madara only give 1 Rinnegan eye to Nagato and not both?

Why did Madara only give 1 Rinnegan eye to Nagato and not both? I mean, Zetsu could've just taken a set of spare eyes and implant them into Madara. When Nagato's parents died, did his Senju/Uzumaki blood mix with that eye to form the other Rinnegan eye?

This point is 1 reason why I think that Nagato was born (more so, supernaturally) and activated his Rinnegan prior to Madara activating his own (the main other point is that he was a child of prophecy like Naruto).

Main difference between Madara and Nagato is Uchiha body and the way they obtained Rinnegan, I mean Madara obtained it from EMS so he can switch back but since Nagato never had EMS he can't switch back or he don't know how to switch back, but both can be true..U_U

Dude read it properly he clearly states the he gave his original eyes to someone (Nagato), that's the eyes that activated the rinnegan. They left eye he shows you is one he implanted after giving his two original eyes to Nagato, I really don't see how you managed to get mixed up lmao!
