That's an opinion, not a fact. I think he also changed his mind when he made Itachi an anti-hero after first establishing him as an incredibly immoral and ruthless villain. Or when he decided to change the theme from hard work will get you ahead to destiny. Watch Naruto vs. Neji after you know Naruto's father is one of the most powerful ninjas ever. Neji's philosophy explains why he lost. Kishimoto changed his mind about the themes.
Thus, there's a pattern of him changing his mind. Kishimoto does not plan things out since this comes out weekly, as also evidenced in all the deus ex machinas that have saved Naruto and Sasuke.
No that is a fact, go ask kishi.. and if you think he changed his mind on itachi a serious wtf..
What the hell do you think he had in mind before than.. and that minato was naruto's father was obvious from the start, if you think kishi fantasized that along the way i don't think anyone here can take you serious.
He at most changes his mind about minor stuff.. but he had the rough outlines of the entire series since he started in 1999
