Then just don't say things like "Naruto is/was stronger than X/Y", which is simply not the case. If someone wants to compare the power of two or more characters, then you only can look at skill and individual ability.
I'm fine with the teamwork-theme of the manga, but people also have to differ. This theme is no excuse to justify silly comparisons.
I can say whatever I want. It just so happens that I'm not saying Naruto is way stronger or is stronger than X/Y. In fact, the theme has every right to justify comparisons especially since the theme blatantly relies on Sasuke and Naruto as contrasting characters. That's a narrow minded way of thinking you have if you think you can defend yourself by telling people NOT to compare characters based on that regard. You have a lot to learn about storytelling.
