I'm fine with the teamwork-theme of the manga, but people also have to differ. This theme is no excuse to justify silly comparisons.

I can say whatever I want. It just so happens that I'm not saying Naruto is way stronger or is stronger than X/Y. In fact, the theme has every right to justify comparisons especially since the theme blatantly relies on Sasuke and Naruto as contrasting characters. That's a narrow minded way of thinking you have if you think you can defend yourself by telling people NOT to compare characters based on that regard. You have a lot to learn about storytelling.

Also, how far inside Naruto does Kurama have to go to make it so he's not a separate being? Seriously. Naruto's whole make up from the day he was born consisted of a demon fox living inside his body. However, your second remark avoids the point I was making. I never disagreed that a comparison between two individuals is based on their own skill and ability. I was just stating that it was an irrelevant topic considering the context of the story. This is where you need to draw the line between story and recreation. You don't need to repeat yourself of course, I've been here longer than you and all these years I've had to deal with "individual strength" this and "skills and abilities" that. It's actually pointless when it comes to this story as Naruto relishes in the teamwork, it's the only way he knows how to fight (even with shadow clones). A comparison by individual feats would require certain circumstances, all hypothetical of course but not exactly accurate and true to their character.
