why did kishi nerf sasuke?

this isn't referring to current sasuke mostly but previous versions. at the five kage summit sasuke put that fodder cloud ninja C(shee) in a genjutsu.. it took him a minute to 30 seconds to do a regular sharingan genjutsu and it hurt his eyes afterwards. later he used a genjutsu on danzo and both obito and danzo noted that sasuke wasn't good at genjutsu.

HOWEVER at the beginning of the series up until sasuke fought bee sasuke was quite good at genjutsu. he placed deidara who trained to counter genjutsu under one THREE times, put numerous cloud fodder under genjutsu instantly, made sai fall on his arse for amusement, placed a perfect jin under a genjutsu(albeit he broke out later), and even broke tsukuyomi.

that's not the only thing that was nerfed but sasukes speed was also nerfed. sasuke was shown to be one of the fastest characters in the series in both shunshin and regular speed. after getting ms he got slower for no reason in both and even after getting power ups from hagoromo hes fast but its not all that great all things considered. why u do sauce like dat kishi?

Didn't Danzo say Itachi's genjutsu was better, I don't think he was insulting his genjutsu but just saying Itachi's was better known for it. Evidently Sasuke's genjutsu is still good. Although I believe you just want Sasuke to wreck like he did before, however Sasuke isn't going against fodder, juubi jins and kagaya are no danzo, deidari, C, or fodder samurai.

No one ever said Sasuke was bad at genjutsu, only that he was inferior to Itachi in regard to Tsukyomi. Tobi stated that he used a short genjutsu on Danzo that, albeit weak, was effective for the situation. So he never said that Sasuke was bad with Genjutsu, only that he was able to trick Danzo with a basic one. But yes, he did not matchup to Itachi's Genjutsu, that is for sure.
