Why did Indra pick Sasuke

Itachi didn't fit Indra, at all. Sasuke after the massacre was the perfect pick.

Sasuke was the perfect fit as he wanted to avenge his honour.

For the same reason Ashura picked Naruto, the corresponding reason it why Indra picked Sasuke. They are both soloers, both are geniuses and prodigies and both are similar in the paths the walked i.e. vengeful and rebellious path.
