Why did Hashirama and Madara ever fight

I think Hashirama will cause Madara to gain the MS, IDK maybe accidentally Madara's brother take a death blow from harishima's dad, thus him eventually loosing his eyesight and this leads to his brother being "sacrificed" which in turn causes him to become the clan leader and causing his intense hatred for Senju.

Your poll is incomplete. As I said before They end up fighting because they are each hired by opposing forces. The only reason they were fighting was because they were paid/ordered to.

Thats what Obito said and him and Itachi has spoke of the past and they weren't even fully informed of the truth they only knew what they were allowed to know. And they weren't talking about money in the previous manga their for your incomplete. you just as I don't even have all the facts

2 smart guys can fight for their CONVICTION.
So at one point they will have to make a choice and they'll disagree , fight.

They'll create Konoha ( a big area alliance ) together , so they are going to split when they will have to find a way to a world alliance.

According to what Madara said in an earlier chapter, the two fought more than once (... you see I have improved since our last fight to the death ...). What we know for now is that they fought on which clan should head Konoha: Uchiha or Senju.
