Only an idiot would resort to "He's the MC" as an excuse for a hole in the argument, as it has no relevance to actual destiny, just the author's writing.

Only a clown would say that. Do u even know both naruto and sasuke r children of prophecy so naruto isn't the one destroying the world

Naruto is the child of prophecy. No statement has been made that Sasuke was also the child or prophecy. Take your fanfiction used as evidence elsewhere.

@Sennin of Logic

Ashura unlike Naruto had all circumstances to be genius but he was failure.

Naruto officially surpassed his parents in war arc.

Yes, but it was through hard work, and earning the help of others like Ashura did.

Actually it was Jiraiya's choice that determined the outcome. Naruto had nothing to do with it.

Btw from Next time u make thread with Half Knowledge of facts
On Kaguya's page...

As Sasuke was the reincarnation of Indra, he had a destiny that was attached to the seal of Kaguya. From the Sage of the Six Paths, awakening the Rinnegan and the key to the seal… This, was evidence of Sasuke earnestness and desire in wanting to save the world.

-> Whilst they had been in a struggle for a long time, the children of prophecy managed to show outstanding cooperation. As expected, it was Naruto and Sasuke, similar to being two halves making a whole.

Naruto and Sasuke. The power of the two of them, piercing a God…

I know that is the point of the manga.

And no a prophecy can't be changed, because the prophecy comes to pass because of the actions of those who heard the prophecy. In other words it comes true because those who heard the prophecy act on it.

Examples of these include Macbeth and God of war.

Prophecy is dependent on the person, prophecies can be changed. Any single prediction can be changed, there is no 100% future.

As my boy shin said, everyone stands on their 2 feet. Destiny and etc doesn't mean crap at all.

Still a terrible argument on your part. Naruto solved the feud, and had no guarantee to do so. If Naruto kept up for Sasuke's death, nothing would be solved. This whole "Naruto was destined to save everyone" is bunk.

Edit: Also, you're hardly one to call me kiddo. You have no idea what age I am, and judging by your comments, you'e probably younger than me.

Actually it was Jiraiya's choice that determined the outcome. Naruto had nothing to do with it.

Pretending that Jiraya dominate's Naruto's path (which he obviously didn't as you see later in the manga). It's a factor, not the entire choice. Jiraya didn't make the choice for Naruto. He could have screwed up.

Iruka > Jiraiya as far as the prophecy goes. You can say Jiraiya was the prophet.

Naruto = child of prophecy

Iruka = the man who saved Naruto

Jiraiya = the guy who didn't give a f*ck about Naruto until Naruto summoned bunta..

Re: Why complaints about "Destiny" and "Child of Prophecy" are irrelevant

Using concepts of "destiny" deal with events and things that can go way beyond what may be said or understand.

- It might have been destiny for Gai/Lee to only have extremely proficient taijutsu.
- It might have been destiny that Team Seven happened to meet the likes of Zabuza and Haku.
- It might have played its role in deaths of several characters such as parents of Orochimaru, Sasuke, and Nagato.
- Destiny may also have been the cause of Naruto meeting Neji and Hinata.
- It may also have a role of Minato and Kushina meeting and plowing the shit out of each other.

It also meant shit to others such as unnamed reincarnations, KKG users, and hosts of Tailed Beast. Yada yada. They essentially have all of that, yet they didn't make a big impact to people around them.

That's why the toads who were smoking up pipes were wrong when Naruto and Nagato worked together instead of being just him alone. Their were essentially using the concepts of destiny and prophecy, which is more than what they could know.

But yeah, after reading back I realized how flawed that way of thinking is.

So you have no explanation, so you fling accusations at me. An interesting debate tactic.

Jiraiya put his faith in Naruto, which is what gave him the determination to grow stronger in the first place. It's your opinion against the manga, and the manga says differently.

It really is foolish to believe Jiraiya had to be present to influence every event in Naruto's life.

This coming from the guy who's reply started off with "read the manga before you make such assumptions." You're the one with aggression, don't play the innocent one that started the attacks. It's hypocritical and whinny.

And what exactly says that Jiraya's decision wasn't simply something that saved him from going one route, and didn't save him from all the routes where he could have failed, the rest was all Naruto hmmm?

It really is foolish to believe Jiraiya had to be present to influence every event in Naruto's life.

And it's a million times more foolish to assume that one decision ensures that Naruto would get through other challenges through his path to his solution.

Jiraya's faith in Naruto not giving up had no effect on him nearly becoming like Indra, as it has nothing to do with giving up, only pride, which Jiraya had no part of.

Where was Jiraya's book and faith in Naruto when this happened?

Jiraya's book was supposed to make Naruto not give up. Despite his lessons from the book, Naruto almost did just that. Jiraya is not the only factor for Naruto's decision, or are you going to star claiming that somehow Jiraya influenced Hinata? Just face the reality that nothing was a given, and Naruto's path could have gone wrong in many ways. Destiny wasn't holding Naruto's hand to save the world, people were.

Let me paint you a picture.

1. Jiraiya does not put faith in Naruto, and does not send Naruto the code.
2. Naruto does not read "Tales of the Utterly Gutsy Ninja."
3. Naruto does not understand all of Jiraiya's fundamental beliefs in Naruto.

You pretty much shot yourself in the foot:

"Save the World or Destroy it."

There were two disciples. One already tried the latter. The second saved it ... in a way. You disagreed with your own thread. He "overcame the feud" because of the former argument. It's semantics, really.

at the end the frog's prophecy and etc was BS... and now its being used as an excuse by idiots to undermine Naruto's work.

Now as for the Sasuke fans.. no Sasuke can't be the child of prophecy also.
