All this ridiculous negativity is just fuel for feminazis, ****ing morons :pick: it's just a stupid movie, watch it or don't watch it, simple as that.

Because money. People want money. Sometimes good things come from reboots/whatever and sometimes bad things to. I try to focus the things I like and focus as little as I can on what I dislike.

Regarding this thing, I don't care for Ghostbuster to begin with, let alone this movie, so whatever, won't be seeing it. I hope it does well because I love Chris Hemsworth.

@bold

This exactly is against the rules. Its about a movie so it goes to the movie section. Atleast thats what the sections' descriptions say.

99% of remakes are awful and this trailer doesn't make me think this movie will be the 1%.

And me personally I have never thought Melissa whatever here name is has ever been funny I have never liked any of her movies. And I feel the same way about Kristen Wig as well.

So for me it was always going to be a tough sell because I don't find the 2 leads funny. It isn't my Ghostbusters but if you enjoy it then go right ahead and enjoy it. It isn't like this movie is erasing the original from existence.

I don't think it's gonna be awful because it's an all Female cast I think it's gonna be awful because most remakes suck. And most recently remakes have been very bad like Robocop, Terminator, Total Recall. There are a lot more those then there are Dredd.

From what I understand, this is not a reboot or a remake. But a continuation of the original. I will watch only because of Kristen Wiig. To me she is a good actor and a great comedic actor. Melissa McCarthy on the other hand is not quite up in the acting skills. I've seen some of her movies and McCarthy's characters always end up being the same.

But why should it matter if it's an all female cast? If Tina Fey, Kristen Wiig, Amy Poehler, Wanda Sykes were playing the core team, would we even have this discussion of feminism? People are already expecting it to be bad, so people will poke holes in the premise at every angle. Even the ones that really shouldn't matter like gender of the protagonists.

TBH, It doesn't look that bad. But it doesn't look that good either.

The cast feels so forced. It feels like a hardcore chick flick movie that is trying to appeal to girls and younger women which i think will ultimately fail. The fact that they're trying their damn hardest to exclude men from this movie is annoying as hell.

My problem isn't only about the cast; the cgi looks garbage and the acting seems horrible. But to be honest, i could see this movie appealing to girls in someway or another since it's all about girl power and basically a female dominated cast which most movies if not all deprive from.
