Sorry for the late reply. Anyway, i prefer to see what a character is doing through the viewers eyes all while knowing the characters have no clue what is going on. To me it is just lazy writing to portray it like that. It also seems more like a bail out just like Kishi's "I hyped NS up on purpose" excuse.
