actually that argument started LONG before either of those two showed up. It all comes down to the fact that when comparing feats and hype, the outcome of the match is such an enigma that no one else cares about them fighting anyone else

It really is pathetic that people can't accept that they r stronger then each other in different ways.
But they r both extremely strong, minato will beat somee opponents that itachi can't and itachi will beat some opponents that minato can't

I guess it's just that they're 2 very powerful, intelligent, and heroic characters who are arguable the 2 best in the manga. Minato is my favorite character but I'll admit they're equal in terms of power. They're very comparable abilities-wise.

I just wanted to know why it's always between those two.

I personally think that they're tied, Minato wins by hype but Itachi wins by feats imo so I'm choosing between the 2.
