Why are Sasuke and Naruto so hated by a lot of people?

He was attacking the enemy to be exact, Obito was draining them to charge the tree, that's just basic battle strategy, the enemy of my enemy is my friend. Sasuke isn't stupid, but he wasn't saving the Alliance out of the goodness of his heart.

I am not hating on him or saying it makes him evil, he is just a by nature selfish person.

Yes of course he came up with a plan, it was to ditch the entire alliance and save himself and the only people who were of use to him.

There is no disheartened look on that scan, that's the same look he has on throughout the entire series.

He doesn't need to encourage them-you could see that they were shocked with what he did. Sometimes actions speak a little louder than words. Furthermore, I am pretty sure that sasuke knows that naruto is better at inspiring the alliance, and so he told him to get up and fight.

While, what you say about actions is true, I disagree about him trying to inspire the alliance.

Actually I don't think he has even mentioned the Alliance or even taken note of them since he arrived on the battlefield, also he is perhaps the one character who is unaware of Naruto's ability to inspire, as he is never seen noting it, or even been in a scene where Naruto does inspire people before the part where everyone saw Naruto's memories.

And like I said before, he knows he needs Naruto in order to win.

In fact to further add to my argument, when Sasuke announces that he will be Hokage, the Konoha 10, told him that was impossible because of his actions, he openly said I don't care what anyone thinks, that further shows his disregard for them.

I didn't say Sasuke chickened out, I just said he was ready to ditch them.

Sasuke isn't a coward, nor am I saying that he is necessarily evil or even a bad person (at least now), he is just indifferent to others.

He didn't even try or consider a way to save them. And he didn't show any concern when the tree was killing them.

When he was dying, he wasn't thinking about saving the world or saving the Alliance, he was thinking about "showing them what a real Hokage is like," and the image of Itachi flash through his mind.

He hasn't once in this war showed concern for the SA, he is using them to achieve his own goals and they are expendable, just like everyone else is to him.



Wanting to be like your brother isn't a bad thing or selfish, but when its the only reason you are helping others period is because of it, then you are helping them for selfish reasons.



He clearly says "that's what I plan on doing," he isn't showing concern for them or disheartened, he is already planning to ditch them without even considering a way to save them.

That isn't the face of someone disheartened, that is the face of someone who couldn't care less.

Which is exactly why he was trying to save them, he knows he can't win without allies and they are the only two people on the entire battlefield that are useful to him and aren't Edos.

Juugo is one of the very few people Sasuke has shown concern about, when they were fighting Killer Bee he showed genuine concern for team Taka.

There are only six living characters that Sasuke has shown concern for from throughout the entire series: Naruto, Sakura, Kakashi, Karin, Suigetsu, and Juugo (I am not counting Itachi or the rest of the clan as they are now dead).

However at some point or another throughout the series, Sasuke has betrayed each of those six and has tried to kill four of them.
