Why are Sasuke and Naruto so hated by a lot of people?

Speaking of Sasuke, I think his changing sides is more a sign of his selfishness.

Sasuke doesn't care about anyone or anything except revenge or generally doing things for his Clans and brother's sake.

He doesn't care about the Village, he doesn't care about the people that called him friend, he would betray anyone and do anything if it means achieving his own goals. Sasuke showed this when he didn't blink at abandoning the entire SA to die, when Obito was going to kill them all with the four Tailed Beast balls.

Sasuke will join any side, including terrorists if it means accomplishing his own goals. Now this does allow him to be manipulated easily at times, but its because he will do anything to achieve his goals no matter the consequences, so if someone hangs whatever he needs right in front of him and says do this if you want it, he will do it without thinking twice.

Well you are wrong. Sasuke obviously had no way to stop Obito from doing what he was doing. It wasn't that he didn't care for the village. Later in the manga he protects some of the SA from being squashed by the tree. That proves he still cares for them. Sasuke isn't like what he used to be. He seems clearer and more sure of himself. Even Orochimaru noticed that Sasuke was different.

He's not doing it for the village, he is doing it for Itachi.

He is doing it for his brother's sake, he wants to be like his brother and make his sacrifice worthwhile.

when has wanting to be like your brother a bad thing? WHen has it been a slefish thing?

Naruto:
  • Gets buffed too much
  • Most things spoon-fed to him
  • Faps over Sasuke more than fanboys
  • Too naive
  • Goofy appearance
Sasuke:
  • Gets buffed too much
  • Most things spoon-fed to him
  • Emo
  • Boring character
  • God-tier tool

Just reasons I've seen people say why they hate the two *shrugs*

But still those two are the main characters

Madara: Gets as strong as he possibly to protect what is important-fails, blames world, turns to fantasy land
Obito: First love died, killed sensei, his wife, third's wife, and messed up and manipulated so many ppl's lives just to choke at the last minute, because a 16 year old child.
Itachi: He tried to manipulate everything on his own failed miserably and recieved enlightenment upon death.

Sasuke simply believes in justice and stands up for his clan's name. Sasuke doesnt want his tragedy to repeat so he wants to change the current system

his definition of justice is plain retarded...he cant make up decisions on his own, and when he did for once he tried to go against what his brother tried to protect for the rest of his life...

I agree with the deidara part but the oro part was because of kyuubi. But honestly, when has Naruto ever gone a complete character change? Only change I have seen is he stopped doing pranks ever since the pain fight. He basically pranked pain by transforming clones into rocks lmao

You remember when they told Naruto the Jiraiya died and he wanted revenge right away, he even left the village to get stronger to fight Pain. At that moment he was the most hypocritical character in the series. He fought and tried to stop Sasuke from getting his revenge but yet did almost the exact same thing Sasuke did. If it wasn't for his plot shield people and Dad to be there. he would of went to kill Nagato.

That's when his character changed for me. He seemed childish and naive like part 1, instead of being portrayed as mature after the time skip.

Mostly right, Sasuke uses whatever means to achieve his goals however

Sasuke is clearly disheartened. He can't do the impossible so he intends to do what he can and save those in his proximity. He already knew what he had to do so, but Juugo had to rush him because Sasuke was hesitating.

Thats why the story had to be told from Itachi's point of view. Sasuke was under the impression that Itachi did all hose things for Sasuke's sake. It wasn't till after hearing Itachi's story that he realized that Itachi loved and wanted to protect the village.

He didn't even try or consider a way to save them. And he didn't show any concern when the tree was killing them.

When he was dying, he wasn't thinking about saving the world or saving the Alliance, he was thinking about "showing them what a real Hokage is like," and the image of Itachi flash through his mind.

He hasn't once in this war showed concern for the SA, he is using them to achieve his own goals and they are expendable, just like everyone else is to him.

when has wanting to be like your brother a bad thing? WHen has it been a slefish thing?

Wanting to be like your brother isn't a bad thing or selfish, but when its the only reason you are helping others period is because of it, then you are helping them for selfish reasons.

He clearly says "that's what I plan on doing," he isn't showing concern for them or disheartened, he is already planning to ditch them without even considering a way to save them.

That isn't the face of someone disheartened, that is the face of someone who couldn't care less.

Studies have shown that most Naruto fans do not get along with Sasuke fans and vise versa. There might be one Naruto fan that is constantly bashing the shit out of Sasuke while the same exact opposite is happening.

It's the same scenario with Hinata and Sakura fans. Most of these groups don't agree on good terms either with each other.

Naruto and Sasuke are like oil and water. Unless you have that one person that likes both Naruto and Sasuke, their is bound to be some hating.

Sasuke is smart of course he already came up with a plan of action, but whatever, I am not gonna try force u to see things as plain as day on the scan. Some see what they want to. (stil ppl dont bother to look away when they don't care)

Yes of course he came up with a plan, it was to ditch the entire alliance and save himself and the only people who were of use to him.

There is no disheartened look on that scan, that's the same look he has on throughout the entire series.

The fact that you have resorted to personal attack just shows that you have no real argument.

Obviously you have your own way of interpreting the manga, so I'm not going to debate about it much. We'll just have to agree to disagree.

The 2 most popular characters of the series.. they ain't that hated mate. And also, main antoganist and protagonist, are usually the target of such hate.
