Why are people still optimistic?

1. Naruto still wants to be Hokage

2. Sasuke wants to be Hokage..

Yes clearly there are no hints of sasuke vs Naruto.

But then you forget what itachi said to naruto. It's the person that people acknowledge that becomes hokage. Sorry but them fighting over it won't mean anything.

The way things are going, and by the way, I mean fast, I wouldn't be surprised if he ends it at 700th chapter. Kaguya got sealed way too fast, Hashirama and Madara are gone, Kakashi lost Obito's power and I'm pretty sure Hagoromo isn't the bad guy. If Sasuke accepts Naruto and his way right off the bat, they could have a friendly fight which could last 3-4 chapters, sort of like Goku/Vegeta type of thing. I'm willin gto bet on that since I don't think Kishimoto would make a bigger impact on Naruto/Sasuke rivalry than on the main villain who caused the world war.

There is still the ten tailed rabbit and Naruto has not shown his Ashura BM mode yet.
