Not sure why One Piece gets compared to Naruto. I've hear it has a better storyline...... Are you Joking? The Art style is Garbage, seems like the story would appeal to the younger crowd from what i've read. The power ups seems kinda wack and so do the characters. The guy with the swords in his mouth is a wannabe Bee but not nearly as sick. Can't say there is anything wrong with people liking it,(to each his own) I just don't really understand how people compare or say its better than Naruto. I mean arn't they pirates? Bunch of sweaty guys on a boat. I feel bad for the female character.

I've tried to many times. I keep trying to give it a chance because so many people say its good, but when I have i've been dissapointed and i've checked out over 100 episodes/mangas. I guess it's just not for me. The earlier post was just trying to be funny. I doubt if it was that bad it would be as popular as it is but just not for me. And I wish the artist was better. Dosn't seem to compare to the top anime's today like Naruto, Bleach, Katekyo Hitman Reborn(just starting to get into this one) art style.(Hitman Reborn may not be on the top but good art)

It makes no difference to how you conduct yourself here on NB and I gather that you're not an OP fan so complaining about a section in which you will not contribute in is pretty pointless.

Also, there are many OP fans here on NB but they are not as passionate about it as those whom have joined OPB. I know the person who made this thread doesn't want more comments, but I can't resist now. I agree with the person I just quoted. I used to watch One Piece, but after it was taken off TV I haven't exactly been able to keep up with it. I plan on watching/reading it soon though. Probably after Guilty Crown finishes since I hear there's only 1 more episode left. And IMO sisnce the 2 are such good animes, I say that Naruto = One Piece.

I can tell you I have watch every episode of both shows and one piece is a more mature show and the better of the two.
