Well I haven’t read the new novels, but opening portals not really new since he been doing that since before boruto was born reason I said 12 ago and pretty sure most of the Justus he used was fire or lightning so not really new either. I’m not sure though since I didn’t read it like I said if you could tell me what he used that would be cool.
In the main boruto story they both nerfed though, and don’t think the novel will be linking or getting a manga story for it no time soon if it ever do.
