Why are movies suddenly canon when your manga makes no sense?

I'm ready for the "Butthurt" and "More salt comments", but come on Kishimoto. Manga should be the only canon material there is, but since NaruHina makes no freaking sense development wise, you make a movie and claim it's canon? If someone were to just pick up Naruto and read it start to finish without watching The Last they'd be confused as a mofo. All NaruHina is, throughout 699 chapters is "girl likes boy who rarely communicates with her". Sounds a lot like High School crushes.

We see no development outside of the battlefield. The most they've communicated was during the chuunin exams. After a silent few years, there was The Confession which Naruto never acknowledged in the manga(Which he likely will 3 years later in the movie). And Hinata slapping him across the face which clearly had no romantic effect for Naruto because in the same war he called Sakura his girlfriend, but I will say that opened his eyes a bit more towards Hinata.

Speaking of Sakura, Kishimoto basically crapped all over her. I read the alleged interview and it says. NaruHina was decided early on (Which I don't believe). He said Kushina parallels were just to mislead or something like that. So he basically developed Naruto and Sakura's relationship to go with NaruHina that has 1:10 the development NaruSaku has? What he said is really confusing me. And Sasuke supposedly likes girls now? (Jk) Sakura's character just has no respect for herself. Kishi used her as a guinea pig basically. But this is proof NaruSaku fans had logic behind their pairing if even Kishi said he was doing it on purpose even though it was ultimately a troll.

Let me stop rambling. I would have no problem with NaruHina if there was actually more interaction with them in the manga. This movie is just to fill the panels that were never filled which is just wrong to me. If it was developed in the manga then so many people like myself would not call NaruHina an asspull. Same goes for SasuSaku. Sasuke goes from physically and mentally abusing her to having a child with her in the next chapter. Logic. Anyways I like their kids a lot and I know this movie will be amazing, just wished there was more NaruHina in the manga for it to not be an asspull in my eyes.

There is no quality. At first Sakura hated Naruto for his actions and didn't even tried to understand his feelings. Later she started to respect him because he became a bit cool & strong and saved her ass on more than one occasion which I call BS. On the other hand Hinata loved and respected every shade of Naruto, her love is pure and there are no selfish thoughts which is why Hinata deserves Naruto's love more than Sakura does.

Sakura didn't hate Naruto in part 1. He was just a really annoying mofo...and Sakura wasn't the only one annoyed by his actions.

People keep repeating this Hinata's initial attraction was pure and not selfish...actually it was just as selfish as Sakura's. She liked Naruto because he had something she desperately wanted herself...calling it unselfish would work better if she wasn't a failure like him and yet still felt the same. But that is not the case.

and she doesn't seem to care much for her teammates...risking getting them kicked from part 1 of the Chunin exams in order to help her crush...rushing to deliver cream to her crush after her teammate has just had his head kicked into the floor.

Maybe this is the shocking ending Kishimoto had in mind? That the studio approached him with the idea for the movie (stated in interview) and it helped make sense of chapter 700 and was a huge financial opportunity to capitalize on the series' end?

Why not hold chapter 700 until after the movie release? Because it was the biggest promo possible for the movie!!

Reasons doesn't matter , she's still among those who hated him without even trying to understand his condition but Hinata actually tried to saw through his pain and tried to understand him even though he was an idiot. That's what you call true love.

And that's the shameful part. Either way this movie would have made bank, but he really gave in to the more popular fanbase this time. Damn shame honestly. His explanation makes no sense.
