Read my previous posts in this thread. There's a difference between being "x" and choosing to do "y" The guy is still gay (or maybe he isn't gay but bisexual) but simply chose to live a heterosexual lifestyle. He still finds men sexually attractive though.

I read it. You do have a point, but I've heard of people going to psychologist to get some help, which actually works.. According to them. They're probably lying, or they're telling the truth. Who knows?

So false. BTW, I think a distinction needs to be made between choosing to live a homosexual lifestyle/labeling yourself homosexual and actually being homosexual. The first two are a choice, but being homosexual isn't. A gay man or lesbian woman may choose to live "straight" and date, marry and have *** with the opposite ***, but that doesn't make them straight. They still like the same *** and don't like the opposite ***, but chose to live according to the norms due to social and religious reasons possibly. Sounds like a horrible life to me, though.



False. I'm bisexual and was attracted to bodies of both men and women and also fell in love with both before I even knew that homosexuality/bisexuality are a thing. I absolutely wasn't exposed to it during childhood, I wasn't raped nor any traumatic incident happened to me and I definitely didn't make such choice early without having realized it (how does that even make sense?)



According to your logic, homosexual people wouldn't exist, because originally, there would be no homosexuals to "teach" their children to be gay and lesbian. And humans aren't the only animal species with members other than heterosexual. Do pigs, horses, dogs or cats also teach their young to be gay?

It is true. If someone is gay lets look at it from their point of view. People are labeled gay because they like the same *** correct? In order for them to like the same *** is because that is what they like. That is the choice they make. They choose not to like the opposite *** or they choose to like the same *** its all the same thing its just a bunch of choices. Gay people don't need to be labeled gay, lesbian, or bi as if they are a race of people. We are all human we are all equal. If you open up a straight persons body, a gay persons body, an asians body, and african americans body, an irishmans body, a spanish body, they will all be made up of the same things as all of us right? Blood, bones, organs, so why do we need to label them any differently?

Being gay/bi/straight isn't a choice I cannot choose to lose all of my attraction to guys no matter how hard I try. Trust I've been struggling with my sexuality since I was 10. It took me 5 yrs to accept myself I can't choose what I want it's something that's apart of me.

Originally wasn't going to comment on the thread until I saw this, you don't change. That's fact. I can link you a couple of interesting articles of supposed "ex-gays", re-coming out as homosexual. What you're friend is doing is probably suppressing his urges and going out with girls to feel better about himself.

I just did more research.. And yeah he probably is suppressing his urges. I feel bad for his wife now, since he got married.

That is beyond ignorant. So your are telling me that what someone likes about a person has nothing to do with the choices they make in life or what they are exposed to? Television, Media, Music all those influences that you choose to listen to don't affect you in any way?

People should spend more energy and time worrying about themselves and their lives than criticizing or wondering what goes on in other people's bedrooms.
