Why are 4 kage trying to fight?

In Boruto the movie we see 4 Kages trying to go up against an enemy, the enemy looks to be "beyond" Kaguya, why are they there?

If this enemy really is Beyond Kaguya than they are not a factor, let Sasuke and Naruto handle things.

To compare it to real life, the 4 kages are 5 year old trying to help 2 6 foot 8 men fight another strong person.

Naruto alone could take the 4 kages at low dif

Sasuke alone can take the 4 kages at neg dif with solo squish gg and solo glance gg.

The "beyond" Kaguya is suppose to be on par or even stronger than Naruto, so I don't see how if Naruto could low dif the 4 kage, how they would make a difference.

Go home Kages, let the Gods have their battle, you don't have a place there.

Gaara assisted the previous generation of kage to fight madara, also assisted the bijuu in trying to seal him, and he was just 18 or so. This is like 15-20 years later. Gaara has been through 3 generations of hokage: Tsunade, Kakashi and Naruto. Chojuro was the one who took down Black zetsu when KCM naruto was having a hard time. Kurotsuchi is Ohnoki's grand daughter, and was on the front lines with her dad throughout the war against edos, zetsus and the juubi. Darui was the same as kurotsuchi, except he's inherited 0the 3rd raikage's lightning, held against kinkaku and ginkaku, fought through edos, zetsus, juubi. He was Ay's right hand and this was about 18 years ago, these guys are at least 7x stronger especially gaara, and chojuro who presumaly has all 7 swords of the mist with the exception of samehada. So I think they deserve a chance against the enemy, and they would be good support for naruto and sasuke

Darui and Gaara were already Kage level in the war arc. Chojuro and Kurotuschi certainly aren't fodder, even in war arc, like anything could have happened at the 5 Kage summit so why the hell would Mei and Onoki bring fodders with them......?

Even if they aren't stronger than Naruto and Sasuke, if they can stand against this new threat whose powers may exceed the mother of all chakra they aren't close to fodder and definitely surpassed their predecessors.

The previous Kage lost, not the current generation. If the new villain is stronger than Kaguya, and the new generation can fight against this threat, remember, they don't have to win, but can just put up a fight and give this new villian a run for their money, obviously they're way past their predecessors in power. Doesn't take much to think about.
