Why all Vs threads and jutsu comparisons between shinobis are meaningless!

I agree for the most part but u have to realize that is basicly the fun and the whole point to the debate...to imagine, use manga facts but at the same time knowledgeably put what your character has on the table vs another to show how u think he could win.

Its fun to compete and debate about possibilities.

Meaningless? It shows your abilities and skills in taking the given moves and putting them through multiple situations. It is a great way to test your ability to interpret situations and see possible outcomes.. While it has no affect on the manga nor does it mean you are right it is a problem solving skills.. Do you know what is more meaningless on this forum?? Threads liek this.

I just didnt want anyone to be under the impression that what happens in vs threads would actually be acceptable in truth. they are fun, yes, but if the end result of a long 500 post vs thread is people actually believeing in that outcome is (excuse my language) 'foolish', to be completely honest. and no offense to anyone

As i agree, there is no truth in the posts but i do believe it can evaluate ones problem solving skills lol. I think they are fun but i get what you are saying.. But i do agree i hate when people try to say their debate is FACT.

Think about it, if someone were to do a Gai vs Kisame, Minato vs Tobi thread or a Sasuke vs Orochimaru or Deidara. would the outcome be the same as it is in reality, meaning 'the manga'? There are countless factors that determine the results of battles on that level and truthfully we can never know them unless they are shown to us. Who could have known about Hirudora, before Gai vs Kisame happened, or Kisame's power to create water and morph into an actual shark among other things giving himself an unbelieveable advantage. The answer is no one. Only Kishi has a mind as the creator to wrap his brain around such things. We do not, thats why all outcomes or arguments in vs threads will never even come close to acutality. Im sorry if I just burst your bubble, but that is the undeniable truth!

I agree 100% but it is fun to use what we know from the manga and debate about who would win what because many battles are not going to be shown by kishi. But yes vs threads are pointless and the outcomes we come out with speculation and really only kishi knows and can make up the final outcome.

How can you even say that? 1. Most of the debates are about characters who will NEVER fight in the Narutoverse (for example: Minato vs Itachi, Hashirama vs Madara, Hiruzen vs Hashirama, etc,etc.) so if we know for a fact that these fights will never occur, how else can we make a jurisdiction out of the matchup w/o debating?

2. Another majority of vs debates are predictions, characters who are about to fight, or are in the process of fighting.I dont think you thought about what you were saying before you hit the submit button U_U.

i know there are some people who debate logically but almost all vs threads turn into fans vs fans. That what makes it pointless at the end.

Sometimes debating is pointless, when people try to debate against manga facts it gets really annoying, ex. Itachi > Nagato. The only time I've ever tried to question a manga fact is the Hiruzen is the strongest Hokage thing, because that was really early in the series and he isn't very relevant anymore when all the powerful people appear.

You dont know that! do you think Kishi will just want to stop making money after naruto is over, some people like me will want Naruto to go on, even if its based in the past, similar to Kakashi gaiden or the Gutsy Ninja master and student chronicles. I know they are predictions for th most part, but in some cases people want to believe its true which shouldnt happen. example: hardcore fans are adamant about their veiws on their own characters which also shouldnt happen, thats all im saying
