no itachi fact is fact the manga said he is a genius in one life time lol.
shikamaru also smart. but itachi is the smartest in the manga.
shikamaru needs time to get a good strategy while itachi does it fast.

outsmart shikarumaru? how? The guy who stated the whole paragraph above just proved this whole entire comparison. Itachi is smart because of his kekkai genkai. And now you're like " WHATT THE FUHH, WHAT? WHAT?! DID HE JUST TYPED THAT." Yeah, shikamaru doesnt have anything that is as special that itachi have...a mangekyou sharigan. That sharigan is able to help itachi predict, read, and indicate his opponent's movements. However shikamaru has to THINK about where his opponents are gonna move, and how the situation will cope after his suggestions. He makes disadvantages and advantages to what he does. Itachi just goes with the flow and remain calm because he CAN. lol, shikmaru doesn't have a susano that protects him from a lot stuff, shikmaru is basically constantly moving while thinking of a plan. Now if we put all of that aside, and lets have an iq test between them, youre gonna tell me itachi will get a higher score?
