madara and hashirama. sasuke hardly acted as a freind to naruto if i recall. i feel he simply just tolerated him back then.

What kind of friend would betray the village and attempt to kill Naruto. This is not a psychological issue but a personal jealosy issue. It was also forced at the end only to get rid of the Brothers fued.

Madara and Hashi on the other hand though fighting against each other, the dream they shared together to build the Leaf Village was a definition of friendship.

bold. funny because thats exactly what madara did as well. he left the village because he got hurt things werent going his way and was going to shit on that so called dream he and hashi built. at least sasuke didnt leave only to come back to attack the leaf, he left on a personal path as he owes no obligation to anybody

I actually really liked Hashirama and Madara's friendship (and theirs seemed healthier than Naruto and Sasuke's). Anyway, sometimes these things don't have to make a lot of sense... And keep in mind why Sasuke felt as though he needed to act the way he did with Naruto...

Naruto kept on chasing after Sasuke, even when Sasuke didn't want him too. It got annoying. I think they had no friendship really until the end. If so, their so called "Friendship" was forced, repetitive and poorly written.

Madara and Hashirama was better. They proved to be the better ones when they were children and after founding Konoha together, accomplishing their dream until Tobirama opened his big fat racist mouth.
