Who's the strongest???

As far as we are all concered, Yondaime, Pein, and Madara are the 3 strongest ninja to ever exist in the Naruto series so far.

The reason I bring this topic up is because there are COUNTLESS threads about these 3 people, all over the internet. People expressing and asking, who is the strongest between them and why they think so. Well I just want to say, it's impossible to even say, for sure, who the strongest is.

-Pein claims to be a god
-Pein has the strongest eye technique
-Pein takes orders from Madara
-Pein planned on fighting the kyuubi single-handedly
-Madara controlls the kyuubi with sharingan
-Madara was once known as the most dangerous man in the ninja world
-Madara has a more advanced space/time jutsu than Yondaime
-Yondaime is said to be the most gifted shinobi konoha has ever produced
-Yondaime has the title of "flee on sight"
-Yondaime defeated the kyuubi(most powerful beast in the naruto universe)

Theres several events about each character to point out that "they are the strongest". But there is NO final verdict of the topic. People can debate as much as they want until the end of the Naruto series, but until ACTUAL facts come from Kishimoto's writing saying "who the most powerful ninja is". Then theres no telling.

Even though Pein, Madara and Yondaime have so much to show us readers how much stronger they are than the other. I will still have to go with Yondaime being the strongest.

So tobi owned yondaime basically, and yondaime was left with one option-seal the kyuubi into naruto, in other words yes, yondaime did fight madara/tobi before sealing the 9-tails.

So yondaime is definitely weaker than tobi-with full proof of yondaime even saying he saw through every attack he had.

The manga also shows naruto has surpassed the 4th in terms of jutsu strength and sage mode, and naruto is having severe trouble against pain, and the only reason nagato is bleeding from his nose is because of chibaku tensei, merely because the fox was released, i personally feel the fox is a seperate power from naruto.

Personally if the fox didnt get involved and naruto was still pinned-he'd be owned.

Pain in fact won that fight against naruto, however Pain lost the fight against kyuubi.

Because naruto has surpassed yondaime, and pain won against NARUTO, pain is therefore more than likely stronger than yondaime, not to mention he has puppets to do his bidding, yondaime could FTG them as much as he liked-theyd just get revived again, at the end of the day the 4th was in a similar calibre as jiraiya and jiraiya got owned badly.


Tobi's definitely the strongest, to be fair though he has had 150 odd years of experience and life to make new jutsus and stuff, whereas yondaime and pain have had..20-25 years? Theyre both pretty young and only started ninja training 10-12 years of age as an average guess

R1:yondaime beat the nine tails at it best and pain cant beat it right now!
R2: madara didnt want to fight the fourth cuz he knew he would lose or why use the fox in the first place if not he would have killed the fourth on his own!

i would say madaara because we can see on manga 440 chapter 10 that he is no ordinary ninja and also able to control kyubi as a pet while yondaime had to sacrifice his life to seal it in naruto.

1) Yondaime fought Kyyubi and not madara. He said he saw a man behind Kyyubi. He didnt mention that he fought Madara and he sealed Kyybui cuz otherwise Kyyubi wud Destroy the village, no?

2) Madara saw all his moves because he has sharingan. Or it is just easier to see moves when someone is fighting Kyyubi i guess. Still, his plan failed and Kyybui got wtfpwnd so that means he didnt see through Yondaimes last move.

3) I agree that if Fox wasnt involved, Naruto would get pwnd. ANd pain didnt want to kill Naruto as we know cuz he needed fox..
But we all expected Fox to come out, it couldnt happen otherwise. But anyways yeah.. the moment when Pein pierced Narutos hands, he WON.

4) DOnt think 4th would lose to pain. I guess he could simply escape from that rinnegan and find the Nagato or just kill the reviving body. Or he could place exploding tags on their necks and then Ftg out from there.


5) Well yeah Madara is 100% stronger then pain since he knows hes secret.
About 4th - not sure, but maybe. He could've killed him 16 years ago by himself you know if he really was that strong. He seems to be using everyone for his own purposes or to get the power which he lost someday. As mentioned by Itachi, Madara is a shell of his former self.

This is confusing me. I'm sorry.
To ever exist in the Naruto series thus far? Madara lost to the First Hokage. Yondaime couldn't compete against Madara. I think Nagato can only control up to Six Bodies at a time, but with those six they can make one of the most dangerous jutsus that we've only bin told about. Pein could be in the mix.

Yondaime, Pain, and Madara. Comes down to Madara and Pain. Most likely it's Madara. Pain's Rinnegan is difficult to see through in a combat perspective. However Madara just has to find and kill Nagato to win.

Like I keep on saying. Yondaime pops up in threads like this because he's a fan favorite. Of-course he's a strong shinobi, but we are talking about the strongest here, not what you like the most. How can he logically be the strongest?

If you seriously want an answer to the strongest ever.
There's a three way dilemma.
With unfair odds against The Third, he beat the First and Second. Safe to say Sarutobi Hizuren can beat The First. However, I don't see The Third beating Madara, in his prime with the MS and the bijuus. The only one we know of who beat him is the First. problems, problems, problems.

Even match.
His Rinnegan sort of trumps Ninjutsu. There's Six bodies each controls a realm. The odds favor Pain, but if Minato can find Nagato, he's a sitting duck.

well i dunno why the first isnt mentioned here cause he beat madara but oh well.

for me has to be yondaime whos the best, flee on sight, beating the fox and even coming up with a strategy to trap the nine tails so it could help his son in the future. then madara for the simple fact that pein takes orders from him. so peins last even though hes still a force to reckon with and a massive chakra reserve.

now the scary thing is that pein said kisame has more chakra reserve then what he does so hes going to be pretty powerful in my opinion now.

as far i concerned

Yodamine is strongest because i think he didn't fight madara directly may be he just saw through every move he made when fighting kyubi which is controlled by madara so with both combined its hard tofight with kyubi just imagine 4th can move with freaking sped with that speed he can defeat kyubi but may be madara is able to see all his moves and directed kyubi's attack.

So yodamine fll that it is hard to defeat a ninja like him who can see all through his deception and even can control kyubi like a pet so he might thought that the one who should fight him should have infinity chakra so its should be kyubi for that reason only he sacrifisd only sealing half the chakra thinking if full means naruto may not control so there is lot of analysis before sealing kyubi

Pein is having very powerful eye technique even though he cant escape from kyubi+sage mode naruto

Madara is having 150+ years experience and one of powerful eye tchnique and not to forget about EMS

even though with there natural powers they are no match for yodamine because yodamine is not born genius but we know he is powerful ninja a konoha ever produce he just sacrificed for sake of village and also thinking of future so in my opinion no doubt yodamine rocks

i dunno why u all think tobi is so strong!? i mean itachi even said he isnt as strong as he used to be and all that! also tobi said he has his power! and so far there hasnt been any proof of tobi/madara actually defeating someone strong!!!!! you all are focusing to much on the past..

I think the first is the strongest one. In the manga it shows the first fighting Madara and there is also the Kyubi. But i don't know which side is the Kyubi. Propably Madara summoned it and the First supressed and anihilatted it's chakra. The First was known for his 2 unique powers. The wood element jutsus and the ability to surpress any bizu's chakra to the point he controlled them like pets, as with Madara and the Kuybi. So the First was the coolest since he fought Madara and Kuybi and survived

And in case u are wondering why then is the First dead and Madara still allive it's simply because (and that goes to all Hakages) he did not have any interest to invent jutsus to become immortal or gain immortallity by sacrificing ppl's lives like Orochimaru

I also think pain is stronger than madara but there are reasons for nagato is obeying tobi/madara.as we all saw nagato himself is very weak phisically and madara knows that.so madara can kill pain with ease.
and I dont really think renningan is the strongest eye teqnique.to my mind byakugan deserves the name of the strongest eye teqnique as I beleave that sharingan genjutsu wont have any effect on hyuga as those eyes are relatet.
and as for byakugan vs renningan...byakugan user would understand the secret of renningan at once and after pains secret is revealed there's no problem defeating him
you may say hinata couldnot defeat pain and that's why renningan is better but I say she is weak.
I really beleave neji would do better

exactly. he just proved my point guys. see we can debate all we want. but theres TOO MANY facts about each one that describes that being as the strongest. even i wanna say yondaime IS the strongest. but in reality, I HAVE NO CLUE.
