If Itachi uses Susanoo he's not going to be able to move fast enough to dodge Mu's dust release. He also can attack Susanoo in it's blind spot because Itachi won't know where the hell he is, making the mirror useless. I don't know this is a good one.

that's true, sasuke saw dediarias bomb thing that couldn't bee seen bye the naked eye but sharingan could
really?!

Besides those bombs were tangible and I believe Muu is completely invisible no trace I mean I want to give it to Muu because of experience but slightly because Itachi's techs are so taxing on chakra he may want to play all of his trump techs first I don't see Itachi dragging this one out he'd want try to put Muu away, right away......imo

In my opinion it all depends on if Muu starts out invisible. If he doesn't then Itachi wins every time in my opinion.

Muu died against a genjutsu user, so I bet that he doesn't have too many counters for it, if any.

And we all know that Itachi starts out every fight with genjutsu, so I think if Muu doesn't start out invisible then Itachi wins.

Lmao, susano's blind spot. What exactly is this.
A full bodied susano by it self is the strongest defence in the series taking away the effect it has on the user. Even without the yata mirror

True Itachi doesn't underestimate anyone and that goes doubly for the 2nd Tsuchikage but if Muu can't be seen by the Sharingan then Muu for obvious reasons has him but remember that fight that Muu died in was a double k.o.

But also remember that the Second Mizukage's genjutsu comes not from himself but from his clam and that the genjutsu only hides where the Mizukage actually is.

Itachi's genjutsu is better because he uses it in different ways, like faking an entire battle (with Sasuke, or Naruto) or making the opponent think that Itachi is them and that they are Itachi (thus making them attack themselves).

It is almost a guaranteed loss if Itachi gets you in his genjutsu. Anyone who gets trapped in it will lose if itachi wants to actually kill them.

So that is why I said if Muu doesn't start off invisible then Itachi wins, because Itachi uses genjutsu even before fights actually start.

wrong, here say and speculation, what's the point in the mirror then?!
Im not speculating. We have seen enough defensive feats from an incomplete susano to say its complete version is the strongest defence in the series, unless you can name a defence that has shown stronger defensive feats.

Btw the yata mirror only belongs to itachi. It main prupose is to neutralise any attack. It gives an already powerful defence an even greater defensive boost

I mean blind-spot as in where Itachi can't see him, and where the Yata Mirror would have no effect. In this case I see the back of Itachis susanoo as a blind spot (more like weak spot) because his sword and mirror are in front of him. The key here is that Mu's dust release isn't going to try and pierce trough or break Susanoo, making it a great counter.

Again you do know that even if you attack from behind, susano by itself is strong enough to protect the user.

Are you saying that nothing is getting through Susanos' armor? at all?

I know that, do you know that Mu's dust release is simply going to encase both Susanoo and Itachi and turn them into dust the second it traps them?
Assumptions. Id actually like onoki to try this on madara's and see what would happen. After all susanoo is a manifestation of the users chakra

Well I assumed that if it hit the Yata mirror it would pretty much disperse like Kirin did.

Because dust release is kind of like a beam, not a huge tsunami of chakra, you know?

I mean he was planning on using it on Sasuke at the kage summit, which means that it must have a pretty narrow aiming point and that it expands after it hits, sort of like the rasenshuriken.
