Whos stronger Gai or Raikage?

When I ask whos stronger I mean who has the greater physical strength, power and i guess who would beat the other? Ever since the raikage came onto the scene hes been all about speed and strength which is what Gai is known for so whos stronger of the two?

I honestly dont know who would win, Gai is a taijutsu genious and he did beat the living hell out of kisame, but that was with the 7 gates, raikage has lightning element on his side as well but Gai is crazy strong so i really dont know.

Well its all about chakra you just have to compare. They say that the raikage is the only one who killer bee shows respect, that means he is a little bit stronger and has equal chakra as a jinchuriki. On the other side Kisame is said to have the same quantity of chakra as a jinchuriki or a tailed beast son when can asume that kisame and the raikage are more or less the same. And gai defeated Kisame so i think he could defeat the raikage. Also, just by watching i think he is faster, jutsus arent important in this battle just speed, and gai is faster...

After 8, you die, but I think the raikage. He has enhanced senses with the lightning armor.

Migualon, you are almost there. Both of you fail to release the complexity of a fight. I mean no offense please don't act like A and break my neck for disagreeing with you! Anyways, you need to take into account stamina, chakra levels, jutsu, nature affinity, etc. If no one else does, I'll post my own detailed reasoning why I chose A since my answer only told a little

I would have to say Raikage cause Gai with the 7 gates open has a limited time to it but the Raikage's Raiton armor looks like it lasts until he dies so yeah Raikage Raikage Raikage for the win

I think it said in the manga that A's lightning armor increased his speed to be up to par with Minato's yellow flash. A's more powerful (and I say that cuz the guy took of his own arm without hesitation, you can't really f*** with people who have the dragon balls to do that). Plus the fact that he's a kage and from what we've seen so far (complete badassness) Gai wouldn't beat him. Don't get me wrong it'll be a fight to watch but I wouldn't be too interested Gai's not a core character I'd be concerned about.
