comparing their lives is like comparing naruto to sasuke but then again nagato had his parents killed in war in front of him so ummmm I'd have to go with nagato plus yahiko died in front of him.

you know not many of the main characters have a good life most of it sucks but their ability to get over it makes it a story or in sasuke's case the inability.

i think sasuke parents where killed in front of him to and to see his whole clan or family dead plus his brother said he killed them only to test out his abilities & he lied & some more shit i dont fill like typing so i think sasuke does

sasuke came back and saw itachi standing over the bodies with a sword
he didnt actually see the killing but nagato was front row seats to his ma and pa's slaughtering and then had to kill the people who killed them and not even knowing how he did it then waking up to a war torn village having to survive all on his own until he met dog then the dog got killed (lost another friend) and got two more who were like fam then lost one of them again lol

well, itachi showed him how he killed them, two times, 144 hours altogether.sasuke came back and saw itachi standing over the bodies with a sword

naruto could be compared to gaara, but gaara was just emo and hated innocents because he was lonely, in difference to naruto who overcame that feeling.
in difference to both of them sasuke is a victim of somebody who killed his family and more or less threatened him and his surroundings 5 years later and therefore decided that that man has to be taken out at all cost. it's about revenge, yes, but it's also about the fact that itachi doesnt leave him a choice.
before sasuke did care about being accepted and grew closer and closer to team 7.
in difference to naruto sasuke and nagato knew what family life looked like when they lost it. naruto never had a family. being an orphan from the beginning is probably easier than loosing everything.
apart from that the naruto or sasuke question is completely off-topic, so let's stop it.
