I want the ps4 so bad, it's just a money thing for me.

This. If it is anything like when the PS3 first came out ($600+ USD), then that might decide it for me.
Also, I've read that it isn't backwards compatible, and that is a setback for me, as I have a PS3 model that is backwards compatible (plays PS1/PS2/PS3 games).

I am getting it but not on the release date I don't wanna come out on the news or anything or get a defective unit. The question plaguing my mind is what it will look like so far I've seen the remote which looks like a ps3 remote just bulkier with a touch screen pad in the center, also the graphics that look amazing. I can't wait.

I probably will since it looks nice and I love Playstation. I like the Xbox too, but I'm afraid that the 720 will have Always Onlinie requirement. So PS4 it is. First game will be AC4 I guess
