Kakashi can open at least some of the inner gates, and Kakuzu, Tobi, and I think even Nagato (would have to check their fight again) have given their praise to Kakashi on his speed.

Deidara and Killer Bee also commented on Sasuke's speed as well. By overall feats IMO both are either tied, or one of the other is faster by a small margin

He struck him by SURPRISE, and Kakuzu didn't even know Kakashi was even in the fight. plus he got kakuzu when he was pushed against a wall. So you call deidara being static but not kakuzu????????

so did sasuke they where talking and he attacked with out warning counts as a surprise attack

sharingan or no sharingan, it takes insane speed to dodge number 8.

do you know what the sharigan can do? it predicts movements so he doesn't need that much speed to move out of that way

Kakashi until I see sasuke moving in a fight once again he doesn't even anymore, he just stand there throwing susanoo arrows and amaterasu but I think that sasuke might be faster

i agree, if you disregard the inner gates Kakashi can use, it's probably a minor difference.

They are almost equal. But if I had to choose, then Sasuke would be faster, not that he needs speed, when he has Susanoo with Amaterasu in hand..

Number 1, Deidara was still anticipating a fight and was actually standing there knowing a fight was going to start. Number 2, Sasuke was in FRONT of Deidara when Sasuke speed blitzed him. Number 3, Kakuzu didn't even know Kakashi was even in the fight to begin with, in fact, kakashi striking his heart was random, something that wasn't even expected. it was impressive that kakuzu didn't detect kakashi, but that doesn't prove that his feat was more impressive than Sasuke's, although both were impresive, speed blitizing deidara from a front range is more impressive than speed blitizing kakuzu from behind. Number 4, Kakuzu was pushed against a wall. Number 5, Kakuzu was attacked from behind by surprise.

I see people using Sasuke dodging Bee in cloak form as evidence that he is faster, and I would remind you that Kakashi took on multiple tailed beasts in Version 2.

Well Kakashi showed better speed feat latelly when km Naruto and bee could hardly rivalize with jins v2 speed,Kakashi and Gai rivalized as well against jins v2's speed.Not to mension that when Gai opened gates, Kakashi wasn't surpassed by Gai,they had perfect timming and Kakashi could follow Gai once to save Naruto and second to assault jinchuricki when Gai was on 6th gates.

Last databook stoped at chapter 409 and Kakashi had 4.5 like Sasuke, i think that both improved their speed since that time so it's hard to say.
