Hiruzen defeated the two previous Hokages at age 69. They were under a perfected Edo Tensei. That is a feat.
They were being controlled by Oro, who was reckless because he thought they were immortal, he even admitted that he didnt know Hiruzen had such a technique (shiki fuin), infact, Oro has been constantly underestimating opponents ie. waiting until he was weakened before taking over Sasuke, Letting Itachi pierce him with Totsuka and laughing afterwards before he realised that it wasnt a normal sword). Oro has contantly overated immortality and he was no different when he fought Hiruzen with edos.
Furthermore, while the edo technique may have been perfected, the edos themselves were not in their peak of strength, for one, Hashirama in his prime had ALL the bijuus under his control, I didnt see nine bijuu under Hashirama's control when he fought as an edo. Also, Tobirama had invented edo tensei, but he coul;dnt use it when he fought Hiruzen could he? Because he was an edo himself under Oro's CONTROL.
Finally, ST techs and Raijin no ken? where were they?
Like I said, Hiruzen didnt defeat Hashirama and Tobirama because they were not at full strength and were not in control of themselves. They were puppets, almost just like the third kazekage was Sasori's puppet.
