Damn if i could find the good thread of this i would but sasori's poisons dont affect kakuzu due to either his Domu Not allowing the poisons to enter his body .. or The fact he has 5 hearts. Iron sand isnt getting past domu.

While fire style Could burn the puppets and his threads could easily remove sasori's core
