As for promotion, maybe Sasuke and definitely Shino. If they tournament hadn't been interrupted. Naruto didn't have the temperament to lead others and Gaara was done after he was stabbed by Chidori. He would've forfeited.

That depends when you say not interrupted does that mean by the village or by Shukaku? If you mean the village, then Gaara, Sasuke had no chance of stopping Shukaku. If you mean without Shukaku, Sasuke might have won.

Gaara. He would have transformed regardless. Sasuke would have been forced to use the curse mark and the same thing would have happened (it would have paralyzed him)

Either that or the protectors would have stepped in and stopped the match.

Sasuke would have also been promoted to Chunin. Hayate Gekko hinted as much when he claimed Sasuke was a Chunin through and through before he gave chase after Gaara. Sasuke was completely calm and collected during that fight and had it well under control until Gaara’s flip out.

Don't know about that tbh. Since before Naruto fought Gaara he was hella jealous of Sasuke. Tho i guess the summoning gave him an edge. Since other than that Sasuke had everything on him except chakra.

I really don't think Sasuke at that point had it on him to keep up with a Kyuubi boosted Naruto, and since this is the kind of fight that would most likely come down to Taijutsu, that's a crucial factor.

If gambunta came into play idk if gambunta could match sasukes speed . And sasuke could just climb onto him and continue the ass beating on or in gambunta mouth.

I don't think so. Gaara did fall unconscious just at the sight of seeing his own blood iirc. Sasuke won that fight imo but lost against 1/4 transformed Jin Gaara.

Most honest answer yet Gaara would of been stopped but in the later rounds it would of ended up with Sasuke vs. Naruto and if Naruto uses Summoning jutsu then it's all over for Sasuke if not then Sasuke wins.

Your forgetting how long it took Sasuke to build chakra and prepare chidori in the early days.

He pulled it off against Gaara, because Gaara was camping his sand armor.

A brazen and bull like Part 1 Naruto, with his hundreds of Kage Bushin wouldn't let Sasuke just camp in an arena until he was prepared.

Plus the limit for chidori in those days was 2 a day. If the chunin exams had continued, he would have only 1 use of the jutsu left. In the manga, he used it 3x against Gaara, and the 3rd time left him immobile and under the influence of the curse mark.

Depends on which cloak since Sasuke was pretty much on par or beating KN0 Naruto until he went 1 tails. Hm i think the chakra shroud he had VS Sasuke at VOTE 2 was far more than vs Neji even his features changed considerably. What he used vs Kimi might have been on par with Neji's tho.
