Who will win in a Fight Between The Fourth hokage and Itachi?

its hard to say but it would be an epic battle
Itachi - He has the Sharingon and the Mangekyo Sharingon and hes got Tsukuyomi which we don't know if the fourth is a genjutsu user or if he could even get out of it, Than we got the Ameterasu, and Suson'o. Itachi is one of the fastest ninja in Naruto when kakashi couldnt see his hand signs even with the sharingon, Itachi pretty much beat Diedara without any effert whats so ever (sorry diedara fans, i am one to), he was also able to defeat Orochimaru pretty easily and Orochimaru killed the Third Hokage and it is arguable to who is stronger the third or fourth.
The Fourth - Konoha's Yellow Flash, the problem is we don't know to much about the fourth, he has the flying thunder god technique, he created the rasengon and dead demon consuming seal and he can summon frogs. in the Kakashi gaiden arc, the enemy ninja saw him and stated that sight of the yellow flash they should retreat.
if they were in a fight the fourth could beat the ameterasu with the flying thunder god technique pretty easily but we dont know if he has a resistance to genjutsu and if he doesnt that would be a problem but since he was a hokage we can assume he had some. without the thunder god technique i would say itachi is faster. If they were both in their prime it would probably be the most intence battle of the series but both are dead so we wont get that dream. i think itachi would win just because i dont know to much about the fourth but if i knew more i would think otherwyse (mabye)

common guys the 4th would obviously win ...Remember the episode where Itachi and kisame tried to abduct Naruto .....Itachi told kisame that jiriya is there ......and if they go any near Naruto then they might get killed ....so obviously Jiriya was stronger than Itachi ....Jiriya himself admitted that The 4th was the greastest shinobi he had ever seen...so I give my credits to 4th

i really like itachi and i think he's really strong... but i voted the fourth because he seems like he'd be a bit stronger and he certainly was fast enough

yeah....itachi is( or was) very powerful and his eyes is very dangerous. but yondaime is( or was) very fast and new a lot of jutsu...omg it's very hard this one...they both great ninjas....
Im so sick of people saying "Itachi said Jiraiya could kill him and Kisame, than 4th is better than Jiraiya so 4th is better than Itachi". What they were saying is Jiraiyas reputation was better than Uchiha and 7 swordsmen and because of that he could be stronger
Now This would be the absolute best fight in the entire world but if it came down to it, I would have to go with Itachi

Madara said that if Itachi really wanted Sasuke dead, Sasuke would have been stomped on. Tsukiomi(sorry for spelling) is not something just anyone can get out of. To get out of it you have to have a better sharingan than Itachi and so Madara and Sasuke were the only ones. Kakashi wasnt able to and he has the sharingan. If he only needs to look at the 4th than 4th is done. Amaterasu isnt a jutsu that you can just avoid, because the fire goes to whatever Itachi is looking at so it is practically unavoidable, but with the 4th's speed he probablly could dodge it. Now Susann'o, please someone explain what the 4th can do at this point, Zetsu stated that with that sword and shield susanno has Itachi is virtually invincible.

Rasengan as we know was intended to use elemental in it but it is powerful on its own. Now this is the thing people do not get, the flying thunder god is not invincble. You need to throw those kunai for it to work and even though that takes like half a second that is an opening that Itachi will take.

I think it would be a very good battle but in the end I think the 4th comes out victorious. The 4th was considered the best Shinobi to ever come out of Konoha, so that has to count for something. Also he is very intelligent as evidenced by his handling of the 9-tails and the fail safe he put in in case the seal came loose.

I think Itachi was known by so many people than minato.
Any way Minato can beat Itachi with ease.
Because
Flying Thunder God Technique, which essentially allowed him to teleport to any location with the use of a special seal. By throwing kunai that had the seal attached to them behind enemy lines, Minato could wipe out an entire platoon in the blink of an eye without receiving a scratch.This earned him the nickname of Konoha's Yellow Flash because of the speed at which Minato (with his yellow hair) moved when using this jutsu.
This is enough to beat Itachi.

You think, Do you really think just with one jutsu he could beat Itachi? He only beat the entire platoon is because his team threw the kunai, what happens when he throws it, Itachi would dodge it before Minato would telaport to him

dude i think the 4th hokage since one he actually is a hokage and two he was the one that sealed the nine tail fox like dude jiraiya could barely handle four tails when it came to naruto and he is pretty strong but at the same time itachi is super strong so my bet is on the 4th hokage but that doesn't mean i wouldn't bet on a draw
