No, it's pretty clear, seeing as Robin was indifferent to the Strawhats but opposed them because she was working with Crocodile, while Sugar openly resents the Strawhats and Usopp for both loyalty and personal reasons. Seriously, other than being a Paramecia who was of great service to the main villain's plans(which Violet also qualifies as), what else establishes a connection between Robin and Sugar?

We have no idea what anyone besides Roci, Doffy, Law and Baby 5 did before becoming a Donquixote Pirate, so they're in the same boat as Sugar.

Neither Robin nor Sugar's pasts were revealed before later in the series, assuming Sugar's will be revealed eventually. Both has had some kind of trauma at some point in the series. Has no connection or bond to the Strawhats, except for some interraction with Luffy. If I dig deeper, I could probably find more. They both used fur coats during their fights with the Strawhats, but even considering that as a parallel would only make me seem desperate. Seriously, though, what connection does Viola have to Robin, that she doesn't already have with Vivi? Unlike Sugar, she wasn't crucial to Doflamingo's plans, at all.

They're not in the same boat, since Sugar seems to have joined years later than the rest of them. My point is that, if she was just like the rest of the members, loyal to Doflamingo and all, why would Oda even make her join later? There's obviously more to it than that.

Nobody has the exact same personality. THere are general stereotypes which fit these characters

I can stomach Viola joining though I still wanted to keep guessing and her powers make me wonder that if she joins wont she get downplayed a bit so she wont b a heavy spoiler(though when u concider that there is like island wide CoO n like 99%crrct 5hours into the future CoO she isn't that much a spoiler) but for a look out they wld b dope n they cld b mucho helpful in finding Raftel when we get to that.

For me she does, resemble Robin a tad when it comes to looks n that's why I was a bit skeptical about her(well pervert side remembered twin magic n that was that).

I also think she parallels Robin much more than anyone in DR(sorry @Skylar) n because she is a dancer n we know our captain is an aho n a sucker for that sort of thing she has a much grander shot that most in joining. She unlike her other family members might b at odds with the DR pple coz she did join Doffy so her leaving then the pple later shown to understand her is a bit Oda style in a Nami-ish manner.

My choice was Momo as a Shanks to Luffy's Roger, or let's keep guessing but I can live with Viola(pervert say what) "What".

If you're gonna draw parallels between them, you're gonna have to pick traits that can't be so easily applied to practically 60% of the characters.

What's with the, we need another girl member attitude? Woman pirates are a rare deal, the fact that luffy has three (I consider Vivi a strawhat) on his crew in itself if a big deal.

Apart from the Kuja pirates, I don't see a lot of crews having two or more woman pirates.

Robin did not in any way help the Strawhats, and if you think she did, then it certainly wasn't to stop Crocodile. It was out of curiosity, because of the initial 'D' in Luffy's name. Viola were in no way crucial to Doffy's plans, and, in the end, you try to overrate her position in the Donquixote family, but she was just a simple spy, with a convenient power. Nothing more. Even her betrayal was under completely different circumstances. The relationship between Robin and Crocodile was pure business, and there is simply no evidence that Crocodile mistreated or blackmailed her. He just kept his part of the deal, and she did hers, but, at the end of the day, she didn't want to give away Pluton's location. Their deal also supports my theory about Sugar's deal with Doflamingo.

They are in the same boat because Sugar's past with Doffy hasn't been revealed, and the others' past hasn't been revealed. I really don't see how this is a hard concept to grasp.

Then the fact that her past and how she got into graces with Doffy hasn't been revealed is not special or unique enough to be able to draw your conclusion that something about her will be revealed that will make it reasonable to say she'll join the crew.

Yes, which has been my point all along. There was a reason for Viola joining later than the rest, and so I think the same applies to Sugar.
