Danzo intentionally held back his forces during Pain's invasion of Konoha in the hopes Tsunade would've been killed,he also murdered the messenger toad that was sent to get Naruto's aid.

bullshit. The Uchiha were a real threat to the leaf and he wanted to get rid of them before they could weaken the leaf with their rebellion. The whole land of fire might have been wiped out/conquered by the other nations if the Uchiha clan hadn't been stopped. Nobody can say wether shisui's plan would have had succeded, most likely it would have merely delayed the Uchihas plans.

And Danzo also had them killed just so he can have access to multiple Sharingans,he manipulated the events to suit him only.That includes ambushing Shisui and stealing his eye,blackmailing Itachi into doing the dirty work,and so on.

Everything Danzo did, he did because from his point of view it was necessary for the well-beeing of the leaf. And tbh I can understand every single move he made. I don't say they were good moves per se, but I can understand them.
But Sasuke does random, unpredictable shit all the time, goes berserk, gets controlled like a puppet by numerous ppl at the same time and in the next moment wants to be Hokage. Plus he keeps reminding ppl that he's an Uchiha and how they are the superior clan (and especialy he himself) and yada yada yada. If that guy is not the biggest douche in this manga I don't know who is.

No, because he thought it was the only way to save the people. We know it was wrong but he didn't. He believed he was right and did what he had to do in order to protect the village. In a way it's like my dislike of Sasuke. He annoyed me with his choices but he felt his way was the best way to settle things even though he planned to destroy the village.

I try putting on other people's shoes to understand their point of view. Sometimes it can change how I first felt about them but only if I really have an open mind.

Danzo did nothing in the best interests in the village-he did it so that he could RULE the village. That was his main goal-NOT to protect the village. Anyway, the results speak for himselves. He's responsible for Nagato going evil, which lead to the creation of the most brutal organisation ever created in the ninja world. He was behind kabuto's demise, which lead to edo tensei killing at least 40000 shinobis in the world war. He was also indirectly behind sasuke's demise, and if not for hashirama and itachi, the village would be in flames right now.

I admit when I was younger and less open to the world I saw things a bit more blindly and bitterly. Now at 30 I guess I think things over more thoroughly. As for historical figures in our world, it's harder due to the fact it affects us and Naruto is just a story, but I try to remain open-minded even though it's harder in real life.

-The Jews were not trying to take any form of power, they were just living in Germany when this occurred

So you think that Kishimoto, the author, is a blind fool as well because he wrote that about his own character?

Not denying that Danzo is a jerk. Wouldn't ever do that. But it does state in the manga, time and time again & not only by Danzo himself that he did care. He was just the "roots" of the Leaf that upheld Konoha, at least according to Kishimoto's statements.

His methods were extreme, but he didn't kill random people, only the ones he saw as a threat to Konoha. Is he heroic? No. Is he selfless? No. Is he a decent person? No. But did he care about Konoha's well-being in the end? Yes, he also committed suicide so that Shisui's eye would not fall into the hands of Obito.

But yes, he is one of NV's biggest douchebags.

I said that he killed not how he did, and I'm taking it to far, look at this list. Obviously a fictional piece couldn't be in the ballpark as something as real as that but still Danzo is the closest thing to what Hitler is LIKE than any other Naruto character if you compare him like that.

But yeah, no fictional character could ever be really close to Hitler, that's not even possible. Especially not in a series like Naruto.
