Everything Naruto knows. Sasuke is his closet sensei, Naruto learned everything just to catch up to the one and only.

I gotta admit your wanking is illogicial, yet creative at the same time. I think I will just respect it.

Jiraya.
Kakashi gave him better weapons and training tools, Bee gave him the mastery to overcome his " curse". Iruka showed him the way of the konoha shinobi. They were very important teachers, but the one who did it the best is Jiraya.

He teached him his philosophy, he made him a little more wiser, he tried to help him mastering his 9-tailed angry puppy. He gave him his second gimmick tech and in a way legacy: rasengan.
What the MC became is nearly all by Jiraya's teachings. He's like his father.

Thank you very much! U_U

I'm pretty sure Naruto was open about his Sasuke wank, yet 698 Sasuke showed us he was a die hard Naruto fapper from the inside.

His greatest sensei was John Cena, who he never surpassed.

The closest's answers should be between Jiraiya and Iruka. Naruto seems to have the most love for these two.

> Pa was just someone that taught him Sage Mode.
> Bee was just some dude that he met in a day so that he could control the Kyubi

Kakashi is just biased as hell when it came to Sasuke and only started tutoring Naruto when Sasuke left the village. Kakashi is just complete shit when it comes to his students as he didn't even see Sakura for two whole years and they stayed in the same damn village for god sakes.

Iruka was someone that would be considered an older brother or father figure to Naruto. Memories from Mizuki. His plea to Bee to keep Naruto safe. Iruka actually showed much care for this brat compared to everyone else.

Jiraiya came in later, but he still showed to take Naruto under his wing. His training might have been underachieved but he still taught Naruto the principles of trying to achieve peace and happiness. Equality. The theme of this manga, which Jiraiya instilled into Naruto, and vice versa.

Iruka became a parent figure while Jiraiya became that awesome sensei.

So yeah, Iruka and Jiraiya.

I would have to say Jiraiya, Iruka and Kakashi in that order. I truly think Naruto taught Kakashi more than Kakashi taught him. Kakashi himself admitted that Naruto's attitude gave him hope and made him decide not to give up so he could help Naruto. Kakashi was more interested in training Sasuke than Naruto. It wasn't until Sasuke was gone and they were aware that Jinchuriki were being hunted by the Akatsuki that he showed an interest in training Naruto.

Jiraiya I think truly came to care about Naruto although it might have started out as an obligation to Minato and a sense of duty to the village. A role model he was not, but Naruto had better sense than to follow in his footsteps. He did learn Jiraiya's will of fire and sense of duty, he also got Jiraiya's desire for peace in the shinobi world. Because Jiraiya was usually otherwise occupied and spent more time womanizing than training him, Naruto learned self reliance and developed an outside the box way of figuring things out on his own which served him well in battle.

Iruka was a big brother figure which helped to ground him. There was finally someone who cared about how he was when he came back from missions. Someone who could teach him right from wrong.

I'd have to go with Iruka and Jiraiya. Iruka was there for Naruto when no one else was, and continued doing so, even when Naruto had long surpassed him in strength. Needless to say, the bond between Jiraiya and Naruto is a remarkable one :)

Iruka is special simply because that was his first bond ever, they are portrayed as the new sannin for a reason. J-Man,Tsunade & Oro will always be the top sensei's in their respective lives, kakashi is simply the team leader.

It's not just "simply" that bond formed a strong foundation and changed how Naruto perceived his own value.

I think Jiraiya will always be Naruto's greatest master, the one who taught him how to be shinobi.

Kakashi is responsible for two major feats with Naruto, the first being the lesson of teamwork which is how the shinobi alliance defeats Obito.

The second is assisting Naruto with his training to create rasenshuriken. Kakashi helped Naruto surpass the skills of the fourth turning rasengan into a super powerhouse jutsu.

Kakashi definitely believes in Naruto, telling him that he is the only one who can surpass the fourth.
I don't disagree with the relationship of the sannin at all, of course the relationship of team 7 to the sannin is important and shows a strong connection to their respective masters.

I like to make a distinction between the role of teacher and master. Naruto always refers to Iruka and Kakashi as sensei, but he refers to Jiraiya and Pa as master which shows a different level of skill and specialization.

I enjoy debates like this where people can express their opinion about characters they like and relationships they prefer, but I would have to wonder.

Would Naruto begin to ask this question himself?

Or would he say something like " All of my friends, masters and teachers matter! "

Here is Kakashi "assisting" Naruto develop rasenshuriken

Sitting on his ass while Naruto tries to figure out wind manipulation.

Send Naruto to Asuma AFTER Naruto asks for help creating wind. Asuma was a much bigger help in explaining how and what to think about when creating wind. An element Kakashi is not familiar with.

And finally this

Crediting Kakashi with help Naruto is an overstatement. His contributions were telling Naruto that rasengan was incomplete, and that multi-shadow clone jutsu (or plot no jutsu) can speed up learning a technique.

The frogs.

They taught him more in a week than Fodderkashi and that armless old man ever could.

I like reading fantasies about things that never happened or are overestimated.

Kakashi was a good and a bad teacher. The good point is that he is good with techs and combat related trachings, while he sucks at providing mental strengh. That's why his Sasuke teachings are a "failure". He didn't strenghned his mind, and Oro used this weakness to strike.

Kakashi just gave him more weapons.

He did the same with Naruto. Firstly because he lacked advanced weaponery, and moreover since he didn't need to have a stronger mental he focused in power gain. Unless sasuke, Naruto is quite strong in will and guts.

Jiraya gave him mastery of kage-bunshin combat abilities, he tried to help him mastering the big angry puppy, but what he did the most is gaving him more wisdom, giving the idea of thinking by himself by talking with his apprentice, even though he was one really stupid one. Acting like a father the kid never had, made him stronger in mind than ever. And pein attack just showed it even more.

Killer Bee and the frogs were teachers but also friends and family. Bee became teacher and then a "bijuu-bro", pa and ma acted like teachers and like a grandpa and a grandma. Both of them gave him one big piece of weaponery, but the frogs showed how a good master Mister J was in Mc's mind and to the readers, when Bee shown him acceptance towards every part of himself (In that point, he is slighly above the frogs)

Jiraiya threw Naruto down a ravine so that he would fend for himself and nobody's calling him a potential child murderer.

Jiraiya only agreed to teach Naurto because he was perving out on Naruto looking like a sexy lady.

Jiraiya left him alone on the edge of town for a month getting wasted at the strip club and blowing Naruto's cash while Akatsuki is hunting Naruto.

However, Jiraiya is still a wonderful teacher, mentor and father figure.

Kakashi also taught him about all of the different elements and some of the various chakra type stuff.

Apparently Jiraiya never got around to explaining what the elements were.

Kakashi teaching him a new training technique that allows him to absorb information at rapid rates is no big deal, I mean it only helps him learn sage mode in a week.

Isn't the whole story plot no jutsu? I mean it's all fake, right?

Enjoying characters and a story isn't a proving ground kind of thing, I'm just sharing an opinion not writing the official history or something...dag..everyone gets so excitable about different opinions...

Just because I see Kakashi through Naruto's lens doesn't mean I don't see how he has flaws.

Who woulda thought, a character with obvious flaws...and tremendous strengths, sounds like most of the major characters in Naruto...

I think the overwhelming obvious trajectory of the whole story is that each teacher provided Naruto with a lesson that affects his character directly that allows him to make certain connections to become the kind of character that could bring together a world at war. If I use over dramatic language, well, Naruto is an epic tale, why would I use a mundane or cynical view point to read or write about Naruto?

Naruto is not a cynical story, it is an epic and hopeful story. So my view of the characters are epic and hopeful.
