The key to this argument here is in the jutsu used: IMPURE resurrection. How it works: there are two basic places your soul resides in, the pure, and impure worlds (heaven, and earth). You may summon one's soul FROM the pure world, to the impure world. That's the only way. All of you who said 1st Hokage, this is your blunder. Remember? Half the ninetales, Orochimaru's arms, and ALL of the previous Hokages' souls are sealed elsewhere. No can do. The 4th went with the Ninetales. The 3rd sealed his own soul, along with the 1st, 2nd, and, of course Orichimaru's arms.

I am going to use you here as an example, you're not the only one. I already explained the deal with the Hokages. Its impossible to summon their souls. Now about Madara. It CAN be Madara but the evidence is highly against it. Idk if exactly what you mean by his "body," but the whole point of the jutsu is to summon the soul, and to provide a vessel for it (a corpse). Someone raised a viable point though. What if Tobi isn't not Madara. Kabuto did say "...Madara, that's what you go by now isn't it?" But that could have easily been a reference that Tobi was just an act, not that he was a different person. He was sorta saying that he simply now goes by his real name and not Tobi. Can't disprove it, but going by what we've been told so far, I doubt Tobi is a different person. If you ask me, Tobi is most definitely a nickname for Madara. Same person, Tobi was just an act. So, going by that, Madara's soul still lies in the IMPURE world. You can't resurrect a soul that's still alive! Just like you can't resurrect Naruto. Makes no sense. Also since when did Madara change bodies? Manga says he implanted the 1st's cells which enabled an extremely long life.

Oh I forgot to say who I thought it was. I will put a lot of money down on Rikodou Sennin. Seems to fit. Idk about his sons. They were briefly mentioned and never even had names. Maybe Madara's brother, its a stretch, he probly wasn't that strong. I bet Sasuke's stronger than him now that he has E.M. Sharingan, so I don't think Madara would freak out like that. Madara's reaction and the intense music playing point to one person: Sage of the Six Paths. I'd put a hundred on that.

3rd Hokage sealed 1st so he can't be summoned. And when Kabuto said that those who are sealed can't be summoned, Tobi said ''So all previous Hokages can't be summoned''. And that was after Kabuto showed the 6th coffin to Tobi

"TOBI" is the name he used as he manipulated the akatsuki

I think its someone extremely powerful, as said above, someone who obviously strikes fear in him that he would let Kabuto join.

When will people listen to the things they watch and not just watch. Madara Uchiha is in the coffin. I am not just saying this as an assumption, at least not entirely. it is called foreshadowing, and for those who pay attention you may recall Madara Uchiha was speaking to his cohorts and was completely pissed off that Pain would use his jutsu to resurrect all of the dead in the hidden leaf and i quote "He promised me he would save it for me." for a refresher pain possessed the same powers as the sixth sage, meaning he could control life and death. In an earlier episode he made a comment to the effect as, " I am to weak to do anything until i regain control of my body. HENCE pain was going to reconnect him with his body.

in short, Madara, like Orochimaru, obtained control of others bodies to extend the life of his will or soul whatever you want to call it. while his true powers are only useable while in his true body, because the eyes can only go so far, it is his body which carries the true uchiha bloodline in its veins. therefore the only person he has to fear is himself. because although pain is dead he has not given up hope. he will not fight his own corpse because if he destroys himself than he destroys his plans. and if his corpse kills him.....womp womp. end of story. while this is not a complete assumption, i atleast give a reason. and that look of fear on his face, Kabuto has his corpse and can willingly destroy it at any moment. smashing any dreams he has, which is the only thing which would force his hand in an alliance.

Im Just going to throw out there that possibly. Tobi- is not Madara He is Obito, posing as Madara, And in the Last Coffin Is Obitos Old Body.
Reasons:
1) when then pan the 3rd person view of Tobi looking at the coffin There is alot of space left in the coffin suggesting a smaller body.
2) If Madara really did an Orochimaru and Got a new vessel do you really think he would leave his True body somewhere easily obtainable?
3) Tobi only shows you his right eye, Obito only has his right eye sharingan.
4) Hair cut... Looks like Obitos
5) kinda stupid but: Obito wasnt very smart and if he made a fake name...
OBITO ---> minus the last "O" and Put the "T" first what do we have TOBI
6)Kabuto was around during the 3GNW he could have been wandering through the woods and saw where obito died, and thus remembering where he was killed to go back and get when he wants.
7) Honestly the SO6P or the two sons, where the f*ck is Kabuto going to find them...
8) SO6P or the two sons, who really knows what they look? and how could someone really Identify Them?
9) Tobi showed his face to Kisame Obviously he must know Kisame would be loyal to him because he ether knows he is In a Vessel that would of someone Important to the plot of the show or Kisame Knows He is not Madara But Someone strong enought that Kisame would be loyal to.

Throw your thoughts twords this i would like feedback cause its killing me not knowing who the F*ck the last coffin is.
OH! and Foreshadowing! Why out of all the places to show a Filler Episode would they shows how Kakashi got his sharingan and Who Obito is and of him dying? this late in the series right when Tobi starts Becoming a Serious Character I think its significant to think about that.

when this is all revealed and everyone knows who it is everyone will be like damn i should of thought about that i think you have to think outside the box madara obviously recognizes this person hes very shocked and slightly angry think about anyone who would create all these reactions also i believe he said this thing being brought back to life would make him weaker and in the anime kabuto said your vessel is complete so with the evidence i have here its clearly pointing to madaras old body or izuna but how would that make him weaker as you keep your eyes obito wouldnt make him weaker on weaken him or maybe the rules of edo tensai are different and you cant have more then 2 bodys of the same person in that case it might be obito or izuna respectably its a very open race and with it not being revealed anyone could be right but my moneys on izuna or obito but kishi will probably bring something out to lead away from this.
