Who was in Orochimaru's 3° coffin?

I dont think Orochimaru would be so reckless to use a jutsu against a Kage without even test it. I mean Kabuto once said orochimaru tried to summon Minato and failed, but i dont think it was in that fight. But you guys have a point a simple Kunai can't stop a jutsu of this caliber.

Now this is where it stops working, if Minato soul was unavailable, they could have seen the technique isn't working. And even if they made the body but the soul was missing, the body wouldn't react like Torune did.

So either, there's a loophole in the plot or Kabuto lied.... unless I'm not seeing something that is

i wont even wait for you to update,minato couldnt be revived because his soul was in the death reaper or w.e,hiruzen thought he stopped it but really,he didnt,it just didnt work because minato cant be summoned

That's not shown in the manga therefore, it's non-canon.

Sarutobi stopped the justu while the coffin was still closed. Everybody knows it can't be Minato so please give your opinion.

Minato. Kabuto tells this to Tobi when he explains Edo Tensei in detail.
