Who was in Orochimaru's 3° coffin?

I dont know if this thread was already made but there is something that bugs me, when Orochimaru fought against Sarutobi who was in the 3° coffin about to be summoned by Impure World Resurrection? Sarutobi stopped the justu while the coffin was still closed. Everybody knows it can't be Minato so please give your opinion.

It was suppose to be minato, but because he sealed himself with the death seal, the third coffin went back down

It was Minato but couldnt summon it due to him being sealed via Dead Demon Curse. A lot of people think Sarutobi stopped it but he didnt.

It was minato, the shurikens didn't stop the jutsu, the lack of a soul did.
Like a few shuriken could stop a jutsu like that
