Who was a better mentor for Sasuke??

Okay that's true I didn't think of the curse of hatred story.. though I don't agree that he'd be in Konoha still.. I think him and Taka would have thought of something else. I do still think Oro is better just imo... and btw, I'm a girl.. /=

2. There would be no TAKA if it wasn't for Obito which lead to Sasuke changing the team name.(like I said; you didn't read the arc after Itachi died)
3. Sasuke WOULD return to Leaf village after Itachi died. Killing Itachi was Sasuke's number 1 priority ambition, and then return.
Even Itachi was shocked when he was revived that Sasuke didn't return to the Leaf Village...

Hey, I'm not trying to act like I'm 8, maybe I just sound bad or something so apologies if I was offensive. Yes, you're right with that Hebi would have still been the name and not Taka, I probably should have said Hebi instead, wasn't thinking. Along with Itachi's reaction, I can see why everyone would see Sasuke go back to Konoha. Naturally I wouldn't originally believe he'd return to Konoha right away because of everything leading up to now but I admit that's shallow analysis of the character which is where I was wrong. You made your point well when shedding light on the curse of hatred and I appreciate that and after gaining further explanation, I can see where Obito guides Sasuke more now.

But I vote Orochimaru because he was there day one...all I did was explain why Obito is "ON" this list.

As weird as it sounds, i have to say Orochimaru.
Sasuke developed the most while under his tutelage, and unlike Kakashi, he didn't kept him under constant inner struggle.

Obito and Itachi were never mentors, i have no idea why they made it to the list ._.

However, it doesn't change the fact that Orochimaru did this with the goal of one day betraying Sasuke and stealing his body. A positive mentor would help someone else without any thought of whether this will benefit them or not, or what they would get out of it. That's why my verdict stands at Itachi or Kakashi.

It's not really betrayal, seeing how Sasuke knew about it all along and was, for the majority of the time, completely okay with it. Though I do see your point.
I still say Orochimaru, he's the one who taught Sasuke the most out of anyone, despite it bring for personal gain. He taught Sasuke not only Jutsu and other skills, but also immunity to poisons and different frames of mind. Sasuke really should be more grateful lol
