He's not writing a new novel.
Also he isn't part toad. He only has Pa and Ma on his shoulders when he enters the Sage mode and he died without them on his shoulders.

He already did his job but just because orochimaru and tsunade are alive it doesn't mean that he has to be. They still have things to do before dying. I saw a thread were people said that tue Sanin will defeat madara

I used to believe that J-man had already done his job, but after the Oro's revival, I think he might make a comeback. Kabuto's fate is still very unknown, and after all atrocities he committed in this war, Kabuto coming good is IMO quite anti-climatic. Instead, he might stay evil, and in this case, we need someone to defeat him. Think about it, Kabuto vs. Sannin would be a good match: Kabuto has snake techniques of Oro, sage mode like J-man and medical jutsu rivaled only by Tsunade's one.

As much as I miss J-Man, I don't want him to come back. He left, in a tragic way, perfectly. He put his faith in Naruto & he died in peace knowing was the one all along to end the hatred.



Him coming back would just kind of ruin everything.

In one shippuden opening theme in the pain invasion, it depicts Jiraiya writing out Naruto's life. As much as I miss him, I don't think he'll be back
