Who thinks jiraiya will enter the war soon?

So i don't know but i think jiraiya is still alive. Why?
1. When pain revived everyone i felt jiraiya was also revived.
2. Since orichinaru is still alive i think theres going to be a final sanin battle, plus tsunade and orochimaru proved that the sannin don't die easily.
3. When kabuto revived everyone, i was shocked we did not see jiraiya since he would have been a huge asset for tobi and his army.

Who else thinks jiraiya is alive?

Jiraiya's death happened a while before Pein revived the people he killed. I think his technique only works on people that recently died.
Also his body has sunk to the bottom of a lake.
Plus it would be really annoying if he came back. Dead people should stay dead in my opinion. What else is the point of killing them if they come back later? That defeats the purpose of killing them in the first place.
So for me, he can stay dead.

Its also possible that you cant revive him since hes on the bottom of the sea.. I recall you needing to have dna or something to Edo someone you cant just randomly poof someone from the dead needs either body or dna not sure D:

Erhm, okay.. First of all.. He's chilling at very bottom of that sea, even kabuto said he could not get that dna ( okay that proves nothing ) but i just think he is goner for good, cuz story has been moved on soo much and jiraya had honourable death and life..

it is true that he can't be revived but i disagree with yer 3rd point. are ya saying the edos were revived exactly where they died? i don't think so. so far as he has their DNA's, they can be revived anywhere i think.

But the Edo's were clearly all in a wooden box before they were revived. I don't think Kabuto is willing to dive into the water to search for a body that has been dead for a long time.
Plus Jiraiya isn't that impressive enough to present a serious danger as an Edo. To go into Sage mode (which he doesn't have completely) he would need Ma and Pa and I doubt they would be willing to help a corpse fighting against the Alliance.

1. He cannot be revived by Edo, he is at the bottom of the sea and therefore has no DNA sample.

2. Nagato's ability has a time limit. Jiraiya died months before the fight between Nagato and Naruto, he couldn't revive him, it was already too late.
