Anyone so long as they don't force their political views on others and attack other people for having different political views, wich is what a lot of them do.

I agree but so do a lot of “middle America “ people. They don’t know how government works, how people are elected, how bills become laws, the budget, GDP, what policies candidates hold.

What’s better, 20+ ignorant celebrities that mean well? Or 30 million who don’t know anything and won’t even try to learn? That number may be lower or higher than reality.

Thats why democracy is a sham and the celebrities help enforce the status quo and attempt to keep the public uneducated about the real issues plaguing the nation

Celebrities live in a different world, whatever they are taking about they have no idea how us the normal see it.

You realize you are emulating exactly what you’re complaining about right? You make it sound like because they live in a “different world” that somehow politics don’t apply to them. This is what sets the divide amongst classes. That somehow because you are rich or poor, well off, or struggling that this somehow gives you more or less of a right to speak your opinion on any given political subject.

Politics effect EVERY walk of life from the filthy rich to the homeless. Simply telling others to shut up because you don’t like their view isn’t progression. It’s polarization.

Now if you said people who don’t actually pay attention to what policies or agendas that are being put forth and vote on popular opinion or because of status shouldn’t discuss politics, that would be another matter.
