People is using the scenario from the part one of Naruto to "prove" that Hiruzen was stronger than Hashi.
In my opinion this is the wrong way to see it on because at this time Kishi clearly didn't think about having Hashirama as the how strong he have had hype about in the part two.

So if someone could tell me how Hiruzen could possibly beat Hashirama with the part two hype then be my guest :shrug:

It says it in the manga therefore it's true, it doesn't matter how it may look that's what kishi wrote and he is the author lol it's silly and retarded to even argue it xd

databook said the kusanagi blade can cut anything, the 2nd hokage was known as the greatest suiton user just because he could create water from his mouth, and water dragon jutsu takes 40 hand seals, hell we didn't even know any of the other hokage's names back in part 1. Recons happen people, the databooks simply tell you the current known data in the series when they were written. As far as we knew back then, Hiruzen was the strongest hokage, but we learn more and parts of the story change.

The entire cut anything part was a legend.. made my ninjas... the legend of the sword was that it could cut anything..

In the beginning Hiruzen was noted as the strongest Hokage, just like Itachi was noted as a bad guy. Just because Kishi stated Hiruzen>Hashiram 7-8 years ago, that doesn't mean that now.Just like Itachi,Kishi never stated Itachi was an good guy,but we can infer that he is. Let's look at some feats

-Wood Style
-Can Heal W/O handseals
-Suppress Tailed Beast Chakra

Until it is said Hashirama is stronger than Hiruzen, Hiruzen is stronger. Honestly what you guys are saying is like for example "No, Vegeta can go SS3 Toriyama is wrong". You act like you have the same say in what is and isn't in the series. For all we know Hiruzen was a Super Saiyan in his prime. HE is the creator HE gets to say who is stronger until it is confirmed shut the hell up and enjoy the series for its pros not its faults!

Do you know what hiruzen has? by his hype in databook 1 2 and 3, he would have 4-5 elements... any wind jutsu can keep spores away from him since they are physical things.....

You have no idea what he has or is capable of ..


Do you even know about enma? the myth behind him and where kishi was going with him? we saw 2 transformations in the manga, the myth says he has 75, And has water and wind elements, and can combine them both to make cloud..

If kishi followed that myth like he was doing, that means enma is one of the only summonings with a kkg and according to databooks, Hiruzen and enma was an unstopable powerhouse in his prime...

Don't believe me, go check yourself, read up on the monkey king, read up on enma's databook entry..

Point is YOU DON'T KNOW , but what's certain is that Back then during hiruzen's time, People of the village who VERY WELL knew about tobirama and hashirama since they only just died... Found that Hiruzen was stronger than them...And Kabuto, who was a ninja of every village, found he was stronger than the kages..

You have no idea what the man is capable of, he has thousands of jutsu that you once again have know idea of...

I take the info given to me from the manga and anime.. and just as the third kazekage was stated to surpass his predecessors ... Hiruzen was also stated to have done the same....

You can disagree, you can have your opinion that kishi changed his mind, But that's yours... and untill I see some legit and solid proof of him changing his mind, He hasn't...

Kishi doesn't need to make a direct statement for me to reasonably assume certain things have been retconned. Because if I don't then I'd have assume every suiton user we've seen in part 2 is at kage level skill, for example.

Urm you do realize there was an severe increase in powerlevels in part 1 compared to part 2?

That doesn't change anything of what happened however.... It just means that if the fight happened in part 2, it would have been on a much bigger scale... simple..
