Who plays Runescape here?

I recently just became a member so I could play the 2007 old school servers again. I was reset and I have to start over again. I haven't played this game in a while. Having sold both my 100's and started anew, which is now reset, I am back in the runescape hype, well, also because I am completely bored at the moment and this will kill time.

Now that I am reset I will start as a skiller and make money so I can turn it into a main.

i used to play, i played for 8 years i had my combat skills maxed, my cooking, fishing, crafting, summoning etc all 99, i stopped playing it shortly after the dungonerring thing came, i had 1 santa hat, all barrow sets like 4 of each, bandos and all godswords.

I do. I compete for Halo and FIFA...

I only play Xbox and I only play Halo and FIFA. I do not play CoD or BF anymore, or any other games or console.

I played runescape since 2003 and quit in 2012... EoC ruined Runescape sadly.

I agree. RS is complete shit now. I couldn't play the 2014 ver because it was too advanced and graphical. I liked the classical version. Of course at a cost I had to get reset to play it...

The new runescape sucks so bad, seriously, i rememeber when pking was fun, when people could go pure, when there were drop partys everywehre adn Zezima was the best player

Eh. True. There were a lot of players in his era who grew with him.

My favorite player who I look up to is Nova4lyfe. He isn't around anymore.

i still have my account on the new RS, my acc is lvl 126 in the normal and 137 on membership.

I used to play it but I've stopped now. I didn't like the changes they made to it over time. They even took away Fist Of Guthix.

I use to run a couple RSPS. Coding Java isn't easy.

Gaming is a hobby, and to an extent it is a profession for me (Halo).

You are all aware that they brought all pkin and scams back right?

So many players complained for a long time that when they revived the 2007 version they also kept the rules from then.
People just arent as dumb to be scammed.

Sometimes I log in when I'm sick or so to play for a week and just mine/sell ores. Got full dragon on my lvl 20 acc for what it's worth nowadays ;_;

They've reduced the price on dragon? The Dragon plate body alone costed 50+M when i was playin :T_T:

Well EoC improved the game, the only aspect it f*cked up on was pking and for many people, including myself pking was the funniest aspect of RS. Think about it, before EoC bossing was boring af, all you need was probably just protect prayers and chaotic weapons and you're good to go. There was minimal thinking or decision making for bossing plus combat can get boring at times.

I do enjoy pre-EOC over EoC but if you look at it in general, it improved the game.

OT: I played since 2004/05 and "quit" for a while in 07 when they removed the wildy and added free trade. Then I came back in 2011 when they brought free trade & wildy back. 2011 was a lot of fun, I had a good range/2h pure with pretty good stats. I botted to make money on my pure so it was really chill. Also, isn't OSRS p2p? I don't think it's worth it seeing how there's only like 15k players playing at a time while RS3 has like 50-60k on avg.

If they made f2p worlds for OSRS then I'd play. I just think paying $5 or $7 a month isn't worth it seeing how weak the population is.
