Itachi was pushed into a corner by the fight, dying by his own accord was simply stealing the finishing blow from the opponent, the fight still pushed him into that situation where he was to die = Itachi loses.

It still resulted in his own death...Itachi's (or as I call him by his translated name)- Weasel's excessive use of his powers basically killed him in this fight, that's what killed him. Himself, for being slightly stupid and making himself 'look' cool by not letting anybody else kill him first. Thats what this thread is about. Weasel died and it was his own fault, he did not defeat Sasuke anymore than Ino lost to Sakura, they were both at their limit, Sasuke had run out of tactics to throw at Weasel and Weasel had drained himself of all power and life he had, I doubt he even had enough energy left in him to stab Sasuke.

Um...still no. Try to keep up with me this time. Weasel is staggering towards Sasuke, you can visually see him dying as he's walking. Sasuke is also out of tactics, resources and chakra, Weasel falls against Sasuke and has like 3 seconds where he falls on Sasuke, says something and collapses. By the time he gets to Sasuke they are obviously both finished, Itachi has worsened his disease and his state by overdoing the sharingan and his powers in this entire fight and is physically exhausted physically and mentally. The fact that Weasel has already fallen on Sasuke before he lives his dying 3 seconds (this is it sasuke/smile) he clearly would not have the energy or power needed to murder Sasuke or use any sort of technique on him, how could he?

They both reached their limit, sure Weasel had more restrictions, but they were basically self-inflicted and more fatal- Weasel just fell before Sasuke did, he lost the match and indirectly killed himself due to these restrictions.

Is that story from an alternate reality? If so...please keep it to yourself, cuz I remember Itachi walking up to Sasuke with a full Susanoo intact, poking him on the forehead and saying his last words as a living being, smiling and then falling over!

The poke to the forehead could have been a poke in the gut with the Totsuka! Stop trolling me...no further responses! You Fail, and so did Sasuke in that fight. And I actually happen to like Sasuke, stop making me disrespect him!

No actually I would use the word "perfect" only for this manga. I agree with you, the battle was a draw, and Sasuke won, if anything more.

I made this thread because of the recent hate threads about Itachi, where he is losing to ninjas he would normally shit on, and many people agreeing with them.
