1. He won against Hiruzen. Ever hear the term "winning the battle but not the war"? That literally applies to Orochimaru with that fight. Besides, he was toying with Hiruzen.

currently Orochimaru. Without the current : Tsunade or Jiraiya for the first spot, and Orochimaru for the second.

But currently :

1. Orochimaru
2. Tsunade
3. Jiraiya.

Also, Orochimaru can be defeated. He only came back due to Sasuke.

It seems pretty logical to think that way.

Well all I have to say is, let's see Orochimaru defeat Pain/Nagato and Madara...

I would say without Edo Tensei, Tsunade as she has very good healing Jutsu that will allow her to tank most things.

Orochomaru is the strongest among the 3 Legendary Sannin of Konoha.

As for NobleRider,
1) Orochomaru never lost to Hiruzen
2) When Orochomaru and Sasuke fought, Orochomaru could not use jutsu and his time to find a new vessel was also near so he was VERY weak.
3) Sorry but I do not remember Orochomaru fighting a 13 year old Itachi.

That said, Orochimaru is the only one alive right now. Tsunade might still be alive (and if that is the case Hashirama will either have final words for her, she will have final words that need to be relayed to Naruto, or she will be saved somehow). I agree with this wholeheartedly. Although I feel Pervy Sage could also beat Oro but it would be just as close. Really I'd say Pervy Sage Itachi wiped the floor with Oro twice, but considered Pervy Sage his equal. I retract my previous but still agree with the Tsunade part.

1) hiruzen beat oro when oro invade the konoha during chunin turnament
2) even current oro doesn't want to mess with current sasuke, did you read the latest manga? oro is sasuke ***** now

Why do people keep bring Edo Tensei and his Senju Body. Edo Tensei is Orochomaru's technique so he has every right to use it. Statements like "without edo tensei he is sooo weak" only make you stupid. This is just like saying "Itachi is nothing without his Sharingan" or "Naruto is nothing without Sage Mode and Kyuubi"

Orochimaru couldn't absorb sasuke big whoop he didn't try to harm him he wanted to take over his body so he didn't want to damage the body at all same with itachi

Jman tried to stop him from leaving village and failed miserably similar to sasuke and naruto in the rescue sasuke arc

So yes oro had officially beat jman and its safe to say he could beat tsunade this is without Edo tensi and senju DNA

The only chance jman has is sage mode but. Oro knows him and his abilities so he wouldn't let him go in tht mode

Just out of curiosity, why does everybody say Oro is immortal? This has never been stated in manga, has it? In fact, I do believe Oro admitted even he would not have survived the Naruto four tail TBB.

Back on topic. I do believe Oro is the most powerful due to his wide knowledge of jutsu, plus his resistance to damage. J-man comes in second due to his sage mode and toad summons.
