they whole point of his training with unohana was to get a bankai whats the point of just unleashing a shikai and not getting a bankai. you call me a fapboy, but you're making excuses for shunshi for not being able to kill one sternritter. my point was that base kenpachi is wayyyyy stronger than shikai shunshi because he killed 3 strenritters neg def... with shikai now he's even stonger. you're acting like shunshi could defeat gremmy and 4 other sternritters, when you say ichigo had to save kenpachi's ass. you even heard shinji say it, "if kenpachi dies than we lose the war". what is shunshi even doing in the war?

kenpachi is the strongest captain and depending on how strong byakuya is now shunshi is 2nd or 3rd.

The Only reason why Shinji said that was because he didn't know Ichigo, Byakuya, Renji and Rukia all arrived. What was Kyoraku doing? Kyoraku was about to face off with Haschwalth when he was ordered to return. Omfg the point of training Kenpachi wasn't to teach him Bankai. Kyoraku himself knew it would take too long for even Kenpachi himself. Kenpachi is NOT the strongest Captain. Even Fake Juha said they overestimated Kenpachi. Also I am still confused about Kenny. Does he have bankai or not? He was stated to always be in shikai, and I don't think there can be a "true" shikai form like with bankai. I mean maybe no knowing the name altered it, but if he doesn't have bankai the kyoraku is stronger and if he does, then the giant axe was

One final note. Zaraki has true strength and power. But... Kyoraku has a sword mastery, a thousand years of disciplined training and Kenny has only recently been trained in swordsmanship. Kyoraku also has kido and extreme intelligence. I don't think you can call Kenny stronger because of his Spiritual pressure being larger. Essentially that is the main edge he has, but who knows kyoraku may be better at hiding his.

Thank you so much. I fully agree with you. I keep saying as of now, Kyoraku is stronger but Kenpachi might eventually surpass him in the future. It's the same thing Kyoraku said about Hitsugaya when he was talking to Starkk. He said maybe in a hundred years Hitsugaya might surpass him. As for the Bankai issue, nope. Kenpachi hasn't attained Bankai yet. Of course he has the ability to get it with vigorous training but right now he doesn't. Kyoraku simply surpasses Kenpachi due to experience, intelligence and wisdom.
I'm really excited to see his Bankai, and i hope we'll be seeing it soon.

wow you are ignorant, just because it's your opinion doesn't mean Kenpachi being the strongest captain isn't true. I'm giving facts why Kenpachi is stronger and you're just giving me bs. shinji can sense reiatsu, he knew everyone that was there including shunsui, and said "If Kenpachi dies, they will lose the war", the only one that wasn't there was ichigo. fake juha was just as strong a the real juha bach, they only reason yamamoto couldn't beat the real one was because he's bankai was stolen. As i said shunsui couldn't even make it to juha bach, so Kenpachi > shunsui nuff said.. that fact that he wanted Kenpachi to awaken his shikai so badly even if it means sending unohana to her grave shows how strong Kenpachi is.

are we counting past and dead captains? strongest ever is probably yammamoto. Kenpachi is probably the strongest now though. Byakuya might be as strong considering how strong he was before and know that he has trained with zero squad. Look how strong renji and rukia got after that. Byakuya must be strong as hell know. I think Urahara is probably the strongest period if we are counting past captains, he has done so much and has not even used bankai. And ofcourse their is the current captain commander.
