[Question] Who is the main antagonist?

Actually in Naruto as a whole the main antagonist wasnt known until very, very late in the game (much later stage than the stage OP is at now) ... And its not yet known for sure who really is the main antagonist. Madara? sasuke? oro?

thats why one piece is great, there are a LOT of bad guys that play such a big role, but it also depends on each individual read and who they consider a "villain"

WG is the antagonist but i dont know if you can consider them worse than blackbeard and doflamingo. the main TRUE villainous force behind the series i think is blackbeard but in terms of anti heroicness, probably sengoku because he was the one in control of all marine forces until marineford.

From the Straw Hats' point of view, the marines and Blackbeard. They have a lot of rivals, but they aren't conmsidered antagonists.

Kishi failed by making too few villains.

You simply do not have a main atagonist in this story, you have several villains, but it's not like they are allied in any way. This puts much more aspects into the developement of the plot - unlike Naruto.

But if you ask me, either Shanks or Black Beard will be the last opponent for Luffy, before the manga will end.
